I drove on my motorcycle, twisting its throttle and making it accelerate to full speed. No one was in trouble and the city didn't need saving, not for now at least. But it's never a bad time to go for a ride.

"What? Are you already starting to miss us?" Stark says as I parked my bike beside the pavement,"You looked like you were in a rush to get here."

"Hey, Stark." I greeted, "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're starting to like me."

"I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you, Artemis."

I groan at the name, "Don't call me that."

For once, Stark doesn't say anything in return. I watched silently as Thor shared a handshake with Doctor Selvig before my eyes land on Steve who was standing beside him, his bright eyes stared right back at me as he offers me a smile.

The glow of the blue cube catches my attention as Banner places it into the glass vault which Thor was holding.

The God then offers the other end to a muzzled and chained up Loki, who reluctantly takes it.

Thor offers each of us a thankful nod, before he twists his end of the vault, engaging a beam of light. It engulfs them and before we knew it, they were gone. Probably home, in Asgard. Out of sight, but certainly not out of mind.

One by one, we all splinter off. Banner jumps into Stark's luxury car, the both of them saying their goodbyes to us as they passed before they slowly faded into the sunset.

"I can't believe you're leaving again." Nat says as she pulls me into a tight hug.

I place a hand on her shoulder squeezing it gently, "I'll be back as soon as I can, alright."

"Come here." Clint says, throwing his arms wide for a hug.

He wraps his arms tightly around like he always does. Clint always gives the best hugs.

"Stay safe, alright? Call us if you need anything and don't do anything I wouldn't do." He points a finger at me warningly.

"Copy that, Agent Barton." I say shooting him a mock salute.

"We should get going." He says, jerking his chin towards something behind me, "Looks like someone wants some alone time with you."

Clint waves goodbye, dragging Nat along with him as they retreat to their vehicle.

"See you soon! Love you!" Nat yells out the window as they speed away.

"Love you, too." I wave as I watched them drive off.

I take a deep breath, wiping off my palms-that have suddenly turned clammy, on my jeans.

I whirled around to face Steve, who looked just as charming in regular clothes as he does in his suit.

"You going somewhere?" He asks with a smile.

I nod, "I've decided to take some time off. Figure out what Loki's sceptre did to me."

"Alone?" He asks, clearly concerned.
