I turn to Wanda as the bots start to charge forward, "Mind lending me some power?"
"But won't that-" she starts looking slightly afraid from the last experience.
"It won't hurt like before." I assure, "Not if you don't resist it. I promise."
She considers it for a moment before she nods, holding out a hand to me and I take it. She was so strong that I could physically see the energy rushing through my veins in purple streaks. The same the purple glow that my eyes always turn is reflected in hers.
I stop as soon as I've had enough, "How did it feel?"
She blinks, her eyes returning to their usual light green.
"Like you said, it didn't hurt. Actually, it was surprisingly pleasant. Like a rush of adrenaline." She says, failing to hide the amazement.
"It tends to have that effect." I laugh, "Thanks."
"Anytime." She smiles.
I return my attention to the bots that have closed in on us. Using the powers I've just obtained, I rip the bots into half and crashing them into the ground with just the flick of my wrists.
"Damn, this is amazing." I said to no one in particular.
"Don't get used to it!" Wanda yells with a smirk as she peers at me over her shoulder.
"Yes, ma'am." I shoot her a mock salute, summoning up a shield as I'm fired at by a bot.
I notice a bot ready to fire at an unsuspecting Clint and immediately open a portal in front of me. I reach for my blade and throw it into the portal and at the bot. It sinks into its head and it goes crashing down.
Clint whips around, eyes darting from the portal then at me and back again.
"Thanks." He says looking at me through the portal.
"No problem, Hawkeye." I smile.
I hold out my hand, using Wanda's telekinesis to return my blade back to its sheath.
"That is still weird." He says, stealing glances at me through the portal and across where I really stood, making me snicker.
"Cam!" Clint yells, alarmed as a robot tries to come through my portal to land an attack at me.
Just as it's about to come through, I close the portal, slicing the bot clean in half.
To my relief, I look around to notice that the majority of the bots have been destroyed.
I make full use of the telekinesis while it lasts, destroying the last of the bots that surrounded me.
"They'll try to leave the city." Thor says, apparently having just dealt with Ultron.
"We can't let them, not even one." Tony replies, "Rhodey!" He calls out into his comms and gets an immediate reply.
"I'm on it." Rhodes answers.
"We got to move out." Steve addresses the team, "You guys get on the boats. I'll sweep for any stragglers. Be right behind you."
