Dinner Moms POV

"Mason why don't you tell us about yourself, and your life?" Lexi asked. We sat around our square table and enjoyed the dinner that Dreamantha had cooked. How could she have found her mate already. I haven't even told her the truth yet. "Well my clan lives in the human world. We manage the door between both world. We are also trained carpenters. So we're always busy. I never usually guard the door but everyone else was booked and they needed Alex and I" Listening to this kid talk reminded me of the day I met my first werewolf. He was a carpenter too. Such a gentleman and handsome. I'm not sure how I feel about him. It's though he cares for my dreamy girl so I'll be nice. I will tell her the truth eventually.
"So Mason, you must really like my daughter? I mean you and her are really mates?" I asked interrupting his story. "I'm sorry I'm just curious on how you know? For all I know you're just saying it because you think she's pretty"
"I'm sorry Mrs.Smithery you feel that way. I am not the player type. Yes girls try to throw themselves at me but I'm not into that. I was in love with one girl. But she found her mate a year into dating. I knew she wasn't the one for me. But it feels good to be loved too. I know the difference. When you find your mate the feeling is mutual and you can feel it in your body that you have found your forever" he answered me with such confidence. I knew he was telling the truth. He wasn't bad looking either with his muscular body and gorgeous eyes.
"I'm sorry for giving you such a hard time. It's just hard to trust a werewolf after what happened with Dreamantha's father" I admitted. I can't believe I said that. I hope Lexi and Dreamantha don't catch what I said. I tried to play it off and just continue eating.
"Where's your Friend Alex?" Lexi asked. I'm glad that she asked a new question. "I'd love to have some company too" Lexi added.
"He's outside.....shoot I forgot about him. Is it ok if I invite him in?" I nodded and went to grab another plate setting for his friend Alex to sit at. I heard them coming back. Alex was scolding Mason for leaving him outside while we ate.
"I'm sorry man! I totally forgot you came when I got attacked by her mom" I heard Mason  reply. They both was laughing by the time they made it to the table.
"Please to meet you Mrs.Smithery, thank you for letting me in. I find it so funny though that you attacked Mason!" He said trying not to laugh he held his hand out waiting for me to put mine in it. I held my hand out and he bend over and kissed it respectfully. I like Alex he's making a great first impression. He's not trying to take my baby away from me.
"I'm sorry Alex I didn't know you came with him! I wouldn't have let him keep you outside while we ate" Dreamantha said while putting a bowl of food down in front of Alex. " I hope you like Hamburger watercress" Alex nodded and immediately started eating.
"Alex, after you are finished we will start heading back to headquarters" Mason said. Oh I remember being at their headquarters. I remember it very well. "Dream I will see you tomorrow if that's ok with your mother and you?"
"After school she may meet you here at our house. So around 4pm shall be fine" I added. Dreamantha just smiled and nodded. "How about you trade phone numbers and you folks can text and call if you want" they did exactly that.
"See you tomorrow" Mason said.
"Nice meeting you all" Alex added. They both hugged and kissed us on the cheek bye. They let themselves out and then they were gone. I'm so debating telling them about their father or in other words Dreamantha father.
"Girls we have to talk" I stated.
