Jessi and I walk down the hall towards the locker room with Jordie trailing behind us.
"Jord, why can't you be like Jamie? He's a sweetheart and gets her presents because she deserves to be spoiled. All I get is told to walk the dogs."
I laugh softly at her mini rant.
I knew she was joking and by the sound of Jordie's laughter he did too.
"Well you signed up for me and my less than subpar romance skills."
Jessi laughs nodding her head as she pulls me to a stop outside the locker room.
All three of us are a little buzzed from the very intense hockey game and the amount of shots we decided to take.
"So how torn are you watching this? Like you have your friends on one team then you have your boyfriend and brother on the other and you've worked with both teams."
I nod my head still holding Jessi's hand.
"Yeah it's not fun! I feel bad you know. Like on one hand it's great because at least one of my teams are going through but that also means one of them goes home. I feel bad for my brother when someone scores but I get happy for the player that scored. It's a mess."
"I'm sure you are ready for playoffs to be over. Jamie's been telling me how stressed and overworked you are because of the playoffs."
I nod my head slightly a twinge of guilt warming my tummy.
"I want them to go as far as they can but I am so ready for the playoffs to be over. This is the all star game on steroids. I am going to need a R&R trip after this. I'm not talking a trip to Disney for a week I'm talking like out of the country take me to the rainforest or tropical island and drop me off for a few weeks."
Jessi looks at me with her sympathetic eyes pouting.
"Yeah I bet this time of the year is stressful. You have handled it before though! You know how this works. It's nothing new to you."
"It's not the same thing. I was in public relations last time. Now i am working in the media constantly. We have to watch these games so closely while trying to edit bumper clips for them to use when going to commercial breaks. Like this is so much more stressful than all the other times but I'll be fine."
Jordie shakes his head patting my back.
"You got this. I'm sure if you need to take a breather the media team won't be upset with you. I am also sure that if you don't start taking breathers a certain captain will be making you take breathers."
"I honestly think her brother might just knock her out."
A soft laugh leaves my mouth hearing the new voice.
"Wow thanks. Glad to know you love me."
My brother laughs and ruffles my hair before going to see his girlfriend.
"You've been replaced."
I nod my head hugging Anton when he comes out.
"At least you still give me attention Dobby." I tease which causes the adorable goalie to laugh.
"Of course. You the better Bishop."
"Don't let Jamie hear you say that. He might get a bit territorial."
Anton chuckles shaking his head before saying goodbye and walking off towards the parking garage.
A snort leaves my mouth hearing the rambunctious noises coming from the dressing room.
"Roope and Esa must be fired up." I mumble before smiling at Miro who is followed out by the two very rowdy hockey players.
"Called it." I mutter under my breath before my eyes go back to the doors.
Jamie walks out with his hair messy and no beanie on.
Instead of his usual quick embrace he takes his time to walk over to us.
He wraps a hand around my waist before pulling me against his chest gently.
I smile up at him a little taken back from his gentleness. He was never this calm and gentle after a win especially a 5-1 win.
"You played amazing out there, baby." I murmur pressing a gently kiss to the corner of his lips.
"Thanks, princess." He murmurs continuing to hold me close to his body.
"Come over tonight?" He whispers into my hair.
"Bring Prada and we can just hang out and chill tonight and tomorrow."
"Jamie I don't know."
"She said yes she will." Tyler pipes up from his spot beside Jordie.
"Tyler, really?"
"If you go home you're going to work instead of rest. I'm just helping everyone out by making sure you go home with Chubbs and rest."
A huff leaves my lips before I nod my head.
"Okay okay. I have to go home and get Prada though. She isn't a fan of my busy schedule either."
"Before you leave we need pictures!" Jessi says happily.
"Photoshoot!" Tyler squeals in a teasing voice before pulling his phone out as well.
"You like the jacket? Thought it would be good for you to fit in with the other girls."
"I love it. I love the ring too." I murmur looking up at him before smiling at the cameras.
After a good thirty minutes of Jessi and Tyler being our own personal paparazzi we were able to leave.
"I'll meet you back at your place. Have to go get Prada and some clothes." I murmur to Jamie kissing him gently.
"Bring your bathing suit! Jordie and I are coming over tomorrow to swim." Jessi calls to me as she walks with Jordie to their car.
A soft laugh leaves my mouth as I nod my head.
"Yes ma'am." I chuckle before getting into my car.

After fighting with Prada to get our stuff and traffic being a royal bitch I finally make it to Jamie's.
I sigh as Prada prances up to the door starting to bark at it.
"Prada shut it!" I snap knocking on the door.
The door opens causing Prada to scurry inside past Jamie.
"Come here." He mumbles pulling me into his chest.
"I'm going to start making you take breaks to see the massage therapist. You need to relax some." He says into my hair.
I can't speak too wound up to say anything.
"Love you, Chubbs."
"Love you more, B."
