For the first time ever, I stood in front of Janvier Inc, ready to go in. When Hal had asked me to come over to his office so we could go over the contract and negotiate. It was my lunch break and I was dressed as nicely as I could. A white jumper with dark jeans and boots. I walked into the building, ignoring the questioning looks thrown my way.
The man at the large desk in the lobby smiles at me and ask.
"How may I help you?"
"I'm here to see Hal?"
The man's eyes widened as he stared me. Oh right. They probably weren't used to someone referring to their CEO by name and yet I, this somewhat badly dressed creature asking to see their boss.
"Sorry?"
I shuffled my feet as I said, voice shaking a bit. "I'm Jesse Morris and I have an appointment with Hal."
The receptionist stared at me for a beat before tapping at his key board. He must have found my name because when he looks up, he smiles at me and happily hands me a visitors badge. He pointed me towards the elevators.
"He's on the twentieth floor." The man said and I nod. I moved closer, leaning a bit to get a clear glimpse of his ID card. Lambert.
"Thank you, Lambert." I said and the man looked startled for a bit before smiling at me. I gave him a little wave as I made my way towards the elevator and got in, pressing the button marked 20. Once the doors slid closed, I stared at my reflection on the panels, hands reaching up to adjust my hair.
I watched as the numbers changed until it finally got to the twentieth floor and the doors pulled open. There was a large table to one side with a smartly dressed woman there and a large wooden door behind her.
I told her I was meant to meet with Hal and after confirming, I was finally let into the office. The whole place was bigger than my apartment but then again, everything seemed to be bigger than my apartment. But this fucking office took the cake. Large windows with curtains pulled apart, a huge wooden desk that I wouldn't mind being bent over. A sitting area in one side and a large teleconference center set up with a large projector including a large fridge and two doors. Curiosity building within me, the urge to just know what was behind those doors. Probably a toilet though.
Hal was standing in the middle of the room, staring at me with a bright smile. He had on a collarless shirt tucked into black pants and shiny shoes, his jacket hanging off a rack near the window.
"Kitten, you look amazing." Hal said as he pulls me in for a hug. I wrapped my arms around him, smiling against his chest as I got wrapped up in his warmth. Hal was just... I don't even know what word successfully describes him best besides sweet.
I leaned back a bit, still wrapped in Hal's arms. "You look really good too."
"Thank you, baby." Hal said, leaning forward to press a kiss to my forehead. We stay like that for a bit before he leads me towards one of the couches. "Would you like some tea?"
"You said you already ordered Chinese?"
Hal had asked me what I wanted for lunch before I came over and I told him Chinese. I've been craving it for a while now and haven't bought it yet cause I was trying to save a bit more money.
"It should be here soon. Interesting choice for lunch, kitten."
I smiled at him shyly. "I've been craving it for a while."
"Then eat to your content, little one." The man said and I grin. I had spent time googling what to get your Daddy Dom. Hal was giving and I wanted to also give him things, you know?
