Going back

" ahhghhg" i grunted as i got off the flight , seriously i am back here and it feels like i never left , this place hasnt changed at all .

The flight unexpectedly reached 30 mins early. So i had whole 30 mins to kill, before i see my mom & KAREN. I didn't expect karen to come after all of this but yet she was going to be here ! And i was super happy .

I had quite sometime so first i got my luggage and as i was starving i ate something at krispy creme i missed that store way too much and had to go eat something there.
There wasnt much time for mom to arrive so I decided to walk downstairs to the arrivals where she was supposed to pick me , i saw my mom waving at me through a distance  okay i should have know she came early like always . I quickly started running towards her , when someone tackled me from behind, HELL YEAH it was KAREN " what the hell karen"
, " what the hell Ruth" she quickly replied , laughing, as I turned towards her she quickly caught me off guard embraced me into a deep hug,  I started crying, copying my actions she was weeping too. "I am so so so sorry karen , I literally am i had no option".
" so you just run away?, you can't even call back? Was i so bad to you ruth?"she said through her weeping voice .
" you know i had to , please i am so sorry, try & understand, please forgive me karen!!!"
" itsokay, BUT NO RUNNING AWAY NEXT TIME FOR FUCKS SAKE! She yelled & I could literally sense the anger in her voice.
" SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED SINCE YOU LEFT"
" please fill in the details !!" I said as I was eager to know what was up with adrian, ken &the  whole group! Well especially Adrian.
" i will once we get you settled back"! She said.
we got back home and i gave the gifts i bought for mom and karen to them. Karen wouldn't stop smiling . We had lunch and then my mom told me i could start college tomorrow as she had already filled out forms i asked her to.  Karen was going to tell me what was up with ken , adrian and everyone i was eager to know but not today .. i didnt want to know anything today i just wanted to be here and breathe cause i know once we get into that it wont be very great.
Karen stayed over as she was too happy to have me back , my mom cooked us dinner and we were watching ironman like before. It felt really nice in this moment and i was happy. It felt mormal.
Bzzzzzz my phone rang , it was dad
" so you go there and completely forget about me wow" he said
" oh no dad am sorry i was caught up" I explain.
" ohkay how was your flight?"
" it was fine I reached safely" i tell him
" alright take care keep callin" he said
" yes dad love you bye"
" bye sweet" he said and cut the call.
We had built quite a good relationship in these 2 years and i was really happy for that.
I and karen decided to go to college together tomorrow and my mom would drop is as I did not yet have my driving license here.
We slept right after deciding our outfits as karen wanted us to twin .

The next morning i woke up earlier than usual i think it was because of time changes and jetlag . Karen woke up because of me . " oh god ruth why are you up so early" she whined and got off the bed and sat next to me down on the floor.
" what are you reading?" She said in a sleepy voice.
" its just a stupid book" I told her.
" you wanna go for a run?" I ask her
Her face brights up and she moves her head up and down in agreement.
We went for a run across our neighbourhood.
We used to do this all the time before and it brought back quite a few good memories.
After returning from our run we got ready to go to college.
