The school campus was huge it wasnt like my school back in Washington it had an open campus and lots of garden area the buildings weren't floored they had wings instead. I looked at my schedule, English was my first class which was in wing B , i walked in search of my locker my class started at 8:30 and it was 8:15 currently so i could keep a few stuff in my locker and then advance for my class . My locker was near the lunch room which was a long walk I managed to find my locker . I put my stuff inside take required things and go to wing B for my english class. There were many students on the campus and I attracted a little attention but I kept my head low and walked as i was not really in the mood of communicating. I smiled at few girls who crossed my path so that I wasn't completely rude.

My first class went pretty well Ms. ginger was a sweet lady , she was in her 20s and worked in my school as a part time teacher . She gave me my schedule as i was a transfer and then explained what was done up until now. Thankfully she didnt make me introduce myself to the class , i wasnt looking for any attention. It was a 45 min class and after it got over I walked over to my next class " Algebra" which was in the same wing but different direction it was quite a walk to Algebra but i took in my surroundings as much so that i was getting familiar with the environment here . I entered my Algebra class , the class was very buzzy students were already in there seats and the teacher had not yet arrived as the class had 15 more minutes to start . I looked around and found a vacant seat in the mid row and sat there i took my textbook out and was fidgeting with it , i was not very good at Algebra so i was pretty nervous about this class . " hey! I am Arch , Arch jones" he says and puts out his hand for a handshake . I look up and smile "hey... i am ruth" i say and shake his hand . "So you are new here? I would love to help out a pretty face" he says with a flirty smile and scratches his head in embarrassment. " yes i transfered here from Washington and....." , As i was about to finish my sentence i am cut off by a loud voice that came our way " ARCHH! You don't trouble the new girl thats not what a gentleman does ?!" She says coming towards us and pats Arch on the back . " HEY ! I am kim is this guy bothering you? If he is you can tell me i wont mind hitting him and he wont mind getting hit" she smirks. " Hey! I am ruth nice to meet you and no he wasn't bothering" i say politely.
Oh god ruth ! We were supposed to study het things done and go back to Washington not make friends this wasnt on the listtttt.
My thoughts were cut off as Kim started talking again " oh that's nice i hope you have fun here" . " yeah sure thanks tho" i say with a smile.
" thanks for ruining my chance with the new girl KIM you are very helpful" Arch says who has been looking in a distance for a while now . " i am sorry kiddo i will make it up to you" she says teasing arch
" you down for coffee after Algebra?" She asks.
"Let me check my schedule. I dont want to skip any classes on the first day" i tell her .
I didnt have any class until my last class at 2:30 so I decided instead of spending time alone here and getting bored i would just tag along with kim and arch. Though this was the plan and i kind of drifted i had nothing better that moment so I went with the flow.
" i have free time after this i think i can come" i tell kim.
" Hello class! Please get back to your seats" mr. zed yelled as the classroom was huge . Mr. zed had written his name on his class board and thats how i knew his name , he obviously introduced me to the the class and fortunately didn't ask me to day anything , today was a good day.
Algebra went pretty fine i tried to get as much thing as possible into my head . After class i went to my locker where I found kim and arch already waiting for me , how did they know where my locker was?
" hey guys" i said and waved at them
" hello!" They both said together
" how did you know where my locker is ?" I asked them while putting my stuff into my locker.
" we didn't you and arch seem to be locker mates" kim tells me
WTH I didn't have to go this way him being locker partners with me meant us talking on daily basis and running into each other!! Why why why i wasnt here to make friends and look what's happening now. I am pulled out of my thoughts, " RUTH! Lets gooo!" Kim yells pulling me and arch . Arch smiles at me apologetically and and return the smile.
He looks kinda cute it isnt that bad i am allowed to have a cute guy as friend it doesn't always have to be dating NO ruthhh you are supposed to me focused this isn't happening, my thoughts fight .
