You can't go!

Riley's POV

While I sat in history class, I started talking to Farkle about our project, I heard Maya screaming at Lucas for ruining her life, then I saw her run out of class. I am just about to go after her, but Farkle holds me back.

"Let her go. If I know our Maya, she'll be back."

So I sit back down and we continue working on our project. I look over at Lucas and he looks like he's going to cry.

"I'll be back." I tell Farkle.

Then I walk over and kneel next to Lucas's desk. "Hey buddy."

He looks at me with big sad eyes. He is crying, I can tell. I wrap my arms around him and I feel his strong arms around me. Gosh I love how strong he is. He puts his head on me and cries into my shoulder. I feel my dad looking at us, so I look over at him. He mouthed "I'll talk to him after class". I nodded and head back over to Farkle.

We finish up class and the bell rings. As promised, my dad calls Lucas over to his desk to talk. Then when Lucas leaves the class, I go after him but he ignores me. I'm very preciset until he yells at me.

"Just leave me alone Riley! You don't understand shit going on with my life and you can't help me. SO JUST LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!"

That was the first time he has ever yelled at anyone and I got really scared. I start crying and I run away from him. I run all the way home with tears streaming down my face.

When I get home, I throw the door open and see my mom, dad, my uncle Eric, my said uncle Shawn, and Auggie all staring at me.

"Riley..." Shawn starts.

"Just leave me the hell alone! All of you!" And I run into my room, slam and lock the door. I can't believed life is going like that. What am I going to do?
