Big Trouble

Lucas POV

I look over at the screen. There were three of them! Three babies!

"Congratulations Mrs. Hart! You are having triplets! Two girls and a boy!" The doctor informs us.

"Thank you!" Her voice sounds hoarse.

Shawn just glares at me. I look at Maya, and I see that we are both blushing.

"Thank you sir." Shawn says, and we get up and leave. He drives us back to our apartment building, and Maya tells us that she is going to go take a nap. I am about to leave to go back to my house when Shawn stops me. "Can we talk for a minute?"

"Yes sir." I tell him with a warm smile.

"I wasn't there for about 15 years in my daughters life. Maya is pregnant with triplets. If you leave her, I will hunt you down and make your life miserable. Are we clear?" He gives me this long speech about being there for his daughter. But I already knew that.

"Sir, I would never leave your daughter, no matter what. I love her more then I love my life. It would kill me to leave her."

"Good. Now you're dismissed." He shows me to the door and pushes me out.

*Three days later*

I wake up to the sound of my phone buzzing. I check the caller ID. Farkle.

"Hello?" I answer groggily.

"Hey! Can you and Maya hang out at the mall with me and Riles today? I want to know how the doctors visit went." He tells me fast.

"Sure. I'll text Maya and ask her. I'll talk to you later." I tell him before I hang up.

L- Hey! Farkle and Riley want to hang out with us @ the mall. Can you come?

M- Let me ask Shawn.

M- He says it's okay.

L- Great! My mom can drive us. See you soon?

M- Yep!

A few minutes later, Maya knocks on the door. I open up the door and let her in. I hug her and swing her around.

"Hi beautiful. How are my babies today?" I ask, smiling.

She smiles back. "We are good."

My mom suddenly appears. "You guys never did tell me what you were having."

"Two girls and a boy." I inform her.

"Wow!" She exclaims. "You have a lot on your hands." She pauses for a minute. "Did you pick out names for them yet?"

"Not yet." Maya says.

"We have to figure it out." I tell her. She nods and leans her head on the window. Five minutes later, we arrive at the mall. We thank my mom and walk into the mall.

"So what's going on?" Riley asks, motions towards Maya's stomach.

"Triplets." I tell her.

"Two girls and a boy." Maya says.

"Did you pick out names yet?" Farkle asks.

"Nope. No we didn't Farkle Carter Minkus." Maya tells him.

"Why did you use his full name?" Riley asks.

"Because Riley Nichole, I want to see how the names sound together." She says.

"Makes sense, I guess." Farkle questions.

"So, do you have any ideas on what you want to name them?" Riles asks us.

"Not yet. We are probably going to ask our parents what names they like. We'll tell you guys when we figure it out." I tell them. We spend the rest of the day window shopping and talking.
