Riley's POV

I wake up to see that I am in a dark room that I don't recognize. I am lying in a bed, and it is actually quite comfortable. I get up and look around. I fall down as the door opens. I look up to see a man standing there.

"Hey. How are you doing?" He asks as he offers me his hand. I hesitate as I look up at him. "It's okay. I'm Liam. You're Riley, right? Maya Harts best friend?"

"How do you know so much about me?" I start shake and my breathing labors.

"Brandon told me. He is in love with Maya, though he only met her twice." His hand is still stretched out to help me up. I grab it and he pulls me into his chest. "You're so pretty."

I blush and look down. "Thank you. So what does this Brandon want from me?"

"He wants to use you to get to Maya. And he said that if I wanted that I could date you. But that is totally up to you." He smiles at me.

"I..." I stutter. "I have a boyfriend..."

"So does Maya, but that isn't stopping Brandon." He gently caresses my arm. I yank away sharply.

"So... If I help Brandon, then you'll let me go?" I ask. The last thing that I wanted was to be stuck here forever.

"Hahaha. No. But, it will be a lot less painful for you." He smiles at me again.

"So she is refusing cooperation?" A guy, I'm assuming Brandon, said, appearing at the door.

"Yeah. But I can get her to." He smirks evilly. "What's her boyfriends name? Farkle, was it? Such an odd name, but he is an odd boy."

"LEAVE! HIM! ALONE!" I scream at them.

"Oooooo! Protective I see. Just cooperate and help me get Maya and I'll leave you and him alone." Brandon walks circles around me.

"Fine, what do you want to know?" I sigh.

"Where does she live? I'll take her when she's asleep like I did with you." Brandon informs me.

"What does Liam have to do with any of this?" I ask, with a plan. I see that there is a window and I can use the bed to climb up and knock it open. I need to find out if Liam is to blame as well, or if it is only Brandon.

"I need someone to take the blame. He has nothing to do with this." Brandon says, a little confused. "Why do you ask?"

"I'm just wondering." I smile up at him, then lay back on the bed.

"So you can tell us all about her?" Liam asks. "Maya, I mean?"

"Yeah. Here's all you need to know..." I say.

Sorry if it was short. One of my friends gave me the idea for this chapter. Thank you for all the advice that you gave me. I am trying to incorporate that into the advice into my story. Tell me how I did please? Thanks! PS: the picture is of rowan because the chapter is mainly about her/her character.
