The Birth

*Major time skip*

Maya's POV (AN: this first paragraph is just description)

I am now nine months pregnant. The babies are said to be born any day now. Lucas and I have rooms made up for them, and we had a baby shower. We got some baby stuff from that, plus Mrs. Matthews dug out some of her old baby clothes. I'm so grateful for all the support that everyone is showing us.

I am asleep one night, when all of a sudden I feel my bed being wet.

"SHAWN!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

He comes rushing in. "What? What is its?" He asks tiredly.

"I need to go to the hospital right now. The babies are coming."

That gets his attention. "Okay! I'll go start the car and you go get Lucas."

I nod and hopple out of bed. I try to make it out the doorway and I get stuck. Behind me, I hear Shawn sigh and he pushes me out the rest of the way. I manage to get to Lucas' door with no problems and I pound on it as hard as I can. After about a minute straight of pounding, Lucas opens up.

"Maya, what is so important that you had to wake me up at," he pauses to check his phone. I snatch it out of his hand.

"No time." I say. I point to my stomach. His eyes widen and he grabs his flip flops and slides them on. He grabs me to help stabilize me, the helps me to the elevator.

"Can I gave my phone back so I can tell my mom where I'm going?" He asks me as we get into the elevator.

The doors are about to close when we hear somebody yell, "Wait!"

Lucas holds the doors to see Shawn and Alaska running in.

"If you want us to wait, then you should tell them!" I yell in a lot of pain.

Lucas POV

I can tell that Maya is in pain. She is being more mean then normal. We rush to the hospital as fast as we can she gets put on a gurney and is rushed back. I try to follow, but gets stopped.

"You are?" The doctor asks me.

"I'm her boyfriend. Can I please go back with her?" I practically beg.

They let me, Shawn, and my mom back. Maya is laying there and the doctors are telling her to push. I start to drift off when I hear a noise. It's the sound of a little baby crying.

"It's one of your girls," the doctor informs us. A few minutes later, the other two kids are born. The doctor takes the babies back to wash them off. While she's gone, Maya decides to finally talk.

"Shawn, what about your other family?" Maya asks. "Did you leave them like you left me?"

Shawn sighs. "I didn't leave them. She took them." He looks at the ground sadly.

"I'm sorry daddy." Maya tells him. Just then the doctors come out with my- our, children. I take Kayden and Piper while Maya takes Mia.

"Then it looks like we're in this together." I tell Shawn.

He takes Mia from me and kisses her head. "It looks like we are."

AN:
I hurt my hand. I got into a fight with a volleyball and lost... Now I have something on my hand for two weeks. On other unrelated news, I'm cooking dinner and I couldn't find the lighter so I had to use matches. I almost burned myself. In case you couldn't tell, I'm accident prone. I saw "Girl Meets Home for the Holidays" and there was a really sweet scene between Maya and Shawn. If you have Verizon Fios on demand, it's there. Anyway, this was the last chapter. One last time...
