Brendon's POV

I wake up to my alarm blaring in my ear. Ugh I don't wanna go to school. I slowly roll out of bed and pick out my clothes for the day. I decide on a pair of blue, ripped, skinny jeans and a simple blink 182 shirt. Casual but nice. I take my clothes and head to the shower. As I stand under the steaming water I can't help but think of the Ross'. I want to know who they are. I'll just have to wait until after school. I honestly really hope they have a teenager because lord knows I need some friends. I don't realize I've gotten lost in my thoughts until I feel the water turn cold. I quickly finish my shower and get ready.

Teeth brushed, hair styled, and eyeliner on, I make my way downstairs. "Nice of you to finally join us Brendon." "Yeah sorry dad I got a little caught up in my shower." "I don't care just don't be late." Yeah I don't really understand why my dad is always so cold towards me. I love the guy but that doesn't mean I have to like him. He's never hit me or anything he's just always so angry. It's probably because he never wanted a son who can't focus and likes a dick up the ass every now and then. Oh yeah, I didn't mention that before did I? Well yeah I'm hecka gay. Like if you look for gay in the dictionary you'll see my face and the name Brendon Boyd Urie. Anywhore, I make myself some toast, scarf it down, and head on my way to school. It's a short walk, only about 15 minutes.

I get to the school and walk towards the main office. "Hello miss, my name's Brendon Urie. I'm new here and in need of a schedule." She doesn't say anything back and just starts typing on her computer. The clack of her acrylic nails the only sound filling the room. After a few minutes something starts printing out and she hands it to me. "There you are Mr. Urie. Have a nice first day." Her voice was surprisingly warm. Although her face was void of any expression. It weirded me out. Anyway I make my way to my first class - English. This should be sooooo fun. I'm just ready for this day to be over.

*Time Skip*

The last bell rings and I slowly gather my things and head towards the gates. I make my way home and set my stuff next to the door. I walk into the kitchen and find my mom. She's looking at papers and has a concerned look on her face. "Hey mom, whatcha doin?" She jumps and puts her hand on her chest, right over her heart. "Jesus Brendon don't scare me like that." "Sorry, I'll try not to. But whatcha doin?" "Nothing just looking at this stuff to settle the house. You don't need to worry about it." "Well alright then. When can we go to the Ross'? I've been waiting for this all day." "You can go now if you really want to Bren, just don't be rude. You know how we raised you and you better reflect that. "Yes ma'am." And with that I walk back out of the house and towards the old abandoned house down the street.

I get to the front of the house and just kinda look at it for a minute. Who could honestly live here? It's so wrecked. I finally pull my head out of my ass and knock on the door. There's no answer for a  good minute and a half. As soon as I turn to leave and go back home I hear the turn of a knob. I look and the door is just slightly cracked; I can see the chain of a deadbolt still connected to it's lock thingamajig. Peering out of the crack is a woman who looks about 50 years old. She's tall and lanky from what I can see. Her eyes are sunken in and surrounded by dark circles. There's a cigarette sticking out from between her thin lips, smoke swirling up into her face. We just kinda stare at each other until she finally speaks. "Uh can I help you? If you're selling anything I don't want it." Her voice is raspy but strangely high in pitch. The rasp in it probably comes from her smoking habit. "Uh hi, I'm actually not selling anything. My name is Brendon Urie. I just moved here, I live down the street. My mom said it would be polite to come and introduce myself to the neighbors so here I am." I said this all in one breath because this lady is making me nervous and my ADHD decided to kick in right at this very second apparently. "Yeah that's nice kid. I'm not really up for company right now so you should leave." Wow okay rude. "Oh okay, well goodbye then. Have a nice day."

She goes to close the door but before it closes completely there's a voice. It's one of the most beautiful voices I think I've ever heard. Apart from mine of course. It's monotone and soft. Almost breathy but not quiet. Words cannot capture it's true beauty. This is the voice that changes everything. "Mom, let him in." Wait this boy, at least I'm assuming it's a boy, wants to have me in his house? This boy that I've never met? This cannot be real. "Ryan we should not have strangers in our house." Ah so his name is Ryan, pretty. "Just let him in mom, it's rude to just dismiss him when he's trying to be nice to us." At this the door shuts. I start to lose hope until I hear the slide of the deadbolt. She opens the door and gestures for me to come inside.

I step in the house and am met with a most beautiful creature. Standing at the top of the stairs is a teenage boy. It's kind of dark in the house so I can't make out specific features but this boy has the most beautiful body. He's tall, very tall, and lanky but not too lanky. His fingers are long ;)). His face is round with a slightly defined chin. It houses small but not hidden eyes, the colour is still unknown. His nose is so cute and button like. And his lips, those lips man. They're thin, like his mothers, but slightly pursed, like he's waiting for something and getting impatient. He might just have the most perfect lips I've ever seen. I guess I've been staring because he eyes me and clears his throat. "Oh, right! Uh, I'm sorry, my name is Brendon Urie. I live down the street. Yeah I dunno what you heard me tell your mom but uh yeah sorry if I'm intruding on anything." God I'm rambling, why am I so nervous around him? "No, you're fine. Don't worry about it. Would you like anything to drink? We have water, tea, and juice." God he's so polite. I really hope I don't screw anything up today. "Uh, just water is fine, thank you." He starts to come down the stairs. When he reaches the bottom I can finally see his eyes. They're the most beautiful honey colour. Slightly browned with perfect flecks of gold spread throughout. They're fucking gorgeous. "Follow me then. I'm Ryan by the way. Ryan Ross." "Uh yeah, hi Ryan." God I'm so fucking awkward. He leads me to his kitchen and gestures for me to sit down at the table. I sit and he brings me a glass of water. "So, why did you just enter my house with no permission yesterday?" Fuck, he saw me. I really hope he's not mad. His voice shows no emotion though so how am I supposed to tell? How do I even answer that question? "Well uh, haha, you see, I kinda maybe sorta thought it was abandoned. And like I really like to adventure and explore stuff so I uh maybe came in and peeked around. I swear I didn't do anything but look at your music and stuff. I'm really sorry." God, I've fucked this up already. He sits down next to me and nudges my arm with his. "It's fine. I get it. The house isn't much of a looker is it? You wanna go up to my room? Maybe get to know each other a little more?" "Yeah, that would be great." He smiles at me and up to his room we go. Maybe I'll get a real friend out of this.

~Hello, it's been a hot minute. I made this chapter a bit longer to try and make up for it. I hope that everyone is enjoying the small bit of the story that is posted. Maybe since I'm home from school with an unknown illness I'll update again later today. No promises though. ~
