Chapter 7

p.o.v Simon:

~~In the fightclub~~

Hannah and Caroline were already waiting for me in the club. I told Cole I would walk home and thanked him for everything. As soon as I walked inside C and Hannah stormed to me and wanted to know everything about my "date" with Cole. Especially C was interested in it, Hannah was a bit absent minded but this is normal before her races. C was just asking questions without letting me answer them.

"C!" I shouted so she stopped talking."

"Sorry Simon."

"Don't worry C but you really should let me talk if you want to know what we did even though it wasn't even a date."

"If you say so, I mean, he paid for it... but when you don't think it was a date then it wasn't."

"We just drank a coffee and talked that's all."

"Ugh so boring. Didn't you guys even talk about something super important or something we should know?"

"We did talk about something important but nothing I can tell you or Hannah."

"Not even one bit?"

"No C I won't tell you about it, it has to stay a secret!"

"Well, I guess I have to find out on my own."

Finally, Hannah spoke up and said: "Simon you should change and do a warm-up before the fight starts."

"Did you even listen to the story Simon told about his coffee date?"

"YOU HAD A DATE?!"

"It wasn't a date C!"

"Sure, just keep telling this yourself."

With that, I followed Hannah's advice and went to the changing room. I didn't change in my fight clothes now because it's not really nice to fight in already wet clothes from the warm-up. My warm-up before the fight usually isn't as intense as the one before my training because I should stay fit and not tire myself. The fights I have will start in an hour. I had to focus but Coles words were still on my mind. I couldn't believe that his mother died. I wondered why she died but I think he thinks it's his fault his mother had died.

Looking back, for me, I had thought that it was my fault that my parents died. I first had to realise that I couldn't have control what happened and it wasn't my fault. It took me years but fighting helped me to get through that tough time and that way I got to know Caroline. She trained here too and she suddenly started to give me tips so I could fight better. She seemed harsh at first but then I got to know her better and then I also met Hannah. She and Caroline were friends for ages and went together through good and bad times. I moved in with Hannah and her brother after a while.

p.o.v Jack:

"COLE GET YOUR FAT ASS DOWN HERE WE HAVE TO LEAVE!", I shouted up the stairs. Cole is such a diva sometimes and takes ages to get ready.

"SHUT UP! IM COMING. AND STOP CALLING ME FAT. MY BODY IS WAY BETTER THAN YOURS."

I rolled my eyes and then said in a mocking voice: "I'm Cole and my body is way better than Jack's and everyone else's too. I am a Greek god."

"It's about time that you finally noticed."

I jumped as I heard Coles voice behind me and let out a high scream.

"You scream like a girl Jacky."

"Don't call me that."

"Yeah yeah let's just go...Jacky."

As he said that he winked at me and walked casually out of the house. When I also got outside he sat in his car and said to me: "Get inside Jacky boy."

"Shut up I take my car I'll meet ya there."

"But if you come with me we'll be faster."

"Stop calling me Jacky then. Or there will be a dead person in the car."

"Well then, I'll stop it... for the ride."

I groaned and got in the car.

~~At the Underground~~

We got out of the car and went into the fight club.

As we got inside I realized I had to use the bathroom.

"Cole. I'll be back in a minute. Go search for a good place to watch the fights."

He just nodded and walked away.

"Okay then..."
So I started my adventurous journey to search the bathroom. I found it surprisingly fast, normally it would take forever. I went inside and did my business. As I came out, I looked to my right and saw an open door. It was the changing room. A person was standing in the changing room. As I recognized the person my eyes widened. It was Simon at least I thought so but no, my eyes didn't fool me. It had to be him and I was sure of it. I went back to the big room and searched for Cole. He was right at the fighting spot with two drinks in his hands. I made my way to him still kinda shocked but I decided not to tell Cole. I wanted to check Simon's background first before I tell Cole the shocking news. Luckily the fight of the first ones started and I got distracted from the news. I was so shocked. The breaks between the fights were pretty long I thought but I was really impatient. The next two fighters were Grimm Reaper and Lightning. Lightning was really good. I wondered who he really was because we needed fighters like him in our gang. Just for the personal safety of Cole and his family of course.

The next fight was between two girls. One of them was called Thunder and the other one Blade. Both of them were really good but Thunder had something to her. I couldn't tell what it was but it mesmerized me. She was fast and had so much power. You could see that she loved fighting. Of course, Thunder won she was so damn good.

The next two fights were with Lightning and Thunder again. Both of them won their fights. When I looked to my left I saw Cole with a bit drool in the corner of his mouth and I said, "Stop drooling or someone is going to fall because they're slipping on your drool."

"You're so funny Jack.", he answered me.

"You're the one who can't stop drooling over the trained body."

"I saw you drooling over the girls but by one, you were completely taken in."

"You mean Thunder."
"See you even know her fight name. That means you like her or you just think she 's hot."

"She was just the best fighter of the whole evening."

"Sure she was." As Cole said this he gave me a small smirk and a wink.

"Stop that Cole!"

"What do you mean?"

"That smirk on your face"

"Well, I won't stop smiling until you admit that you seem to like Thunder."

"You should really give up."

"I'm sure you want to know her real name right?"

"Maybe..."

"See I told ya so. You like her."

"How can I like her when I don't know what her personality is. Idiot."

"You're right but I know that you like her."

While he tried to convince me that I liked her I went to the bar and ordered myself a good Jack Daniels. Cole followed me as usual when he tries to annoy or convince me. I just didn't listen to him there was no point to do otherwise. Cole can be so damn annoying with a thing like this even when I do something stupid he knows it. Still after 3 years. Sometimes I think that he's insane. He laughs a lot about me but I'm also acting really stupid sometimes.

The ride home was quiet and you could only hear the music coming out of the radio. Cole was driving as usual and I couldn't stop thinking about Thunder. She was always on my mind. I still remembered her perfect body and the way she moved her arms when she wanted to throw a punch or dodge one. She was so talented and I wondered where she had learned how to fight like that.

I had to find out who she was.
