Chapter 14

p.o.v. Hannah:

After a while, Mika and I heard loud voices from one of the bedrooms. Simon stormed down the stairs and ran out of the house. Cole ran after him. He seemed furious.

"I guess it didn't end up so well."

"I think it happened what we hoped wouldn't."

"I go after Simon okay."

"Okay, and I try to calm down Cole."

I went outside and found Simon drenched in tears next to Cole's car. I approached him with a calm voice.

"Hey..."

"Hey...", he answered me in tears.

"What happened up there?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Okay just know. I'm always here for you."

"I know."

I gave him a long hug and stayed by his side until he calmed down. Meanwhile, C stormed out too. She was furious.

"Didn't go well huh?"

"He wants me to stop fighting!"

"You have to understand him. He's worried about you."

"Yeah, you don't have that problem. Mika doesn't want you to stop driving races."

"She hates the idea of me driving these races but she knows that it's the only way I can live and she understands."

"Can you please stop fighting?!", Simon shouted.

"Sorry.", C and I said.

p.o.v. Cole:

When I found out that the Storm-Trio are Simon, Caroline and Hannah I got so furious. Simon could have told me but he chooses to lie to me. I hate lies especially from people I love.

When we tried to talk about everything it kind of escalated. I shouted at him because he hadn't told me and all he wanted to know was why I knew it. I didn't want to explain to him why I knew so I didn't answer it. I was so furious I told him to stop fighting. Then he broke down in tears and stormed downstairs.

I ran after him but Mika blocked me off so I could calm down and stop doing any more damage.

"What happened up there?", Mika asked me.

"It just escalated okay."

"Why though, I mean did you tell him why you found out about it?"

"No, I didn't. It's too risky."

"Well I told Hannah and she understood me."

"Wait, you told her?!"

"Yes, she is my girlfriend. We don't have secrets I also knew that she is a racer."

"SO YOU TOLD HER ABOUT THE GANG?!", I shouted.

"Well yes. It was the only right thing to do."

"YOU KNOW EXACTLY THAT YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO TELL ANYONE. EVEN IF SHE IS YOUR GIRLFRIEND!"

"Sorry but that way she understood what it means and can handle it better and she can understand my worries."

"So you think I should tell Simon so he knows why I want him to stop fighting?"

"You can only hope that he understands."

"Okay I'll tell him"

"Good but wait a few days. I'm sure he doesn't want to see you since you told him not to fight again."

"You're probably right. Thanks, Sis."

"No problem. Oh and tell Jack the same if he makes the same mistake with C. She doesn't get sad but she gets furious and would kill anyone who gets in her way."

"I guess it's already too late."

At that moment C stormed out of Jacks bedroom with the scariest look on her face I've ever seen. I guess Jack did the worst thing he could have done and made her angry. Mika was right she looked like she would kill everyone who stands in her way.

"Damn she looks frightening. I have to learn that too."

"You're such an idiot Cole."

"What do you know how frightened the other gangs would be when they see me like that? It would be so funny to see their faces.", I chuckled after I said that this but Mika rammed her elbow into my side so I stopped.

"Cole that's not funny."

"I know, sorry, but imagine their faces."

"I would have expected that from Jack but not from you Cole."

"Why from Jack?"

"Well you know, he's not the smartest."

"Yeah..."

I didn't see Jack for the rest of the day. I guess he was upset or sad about the fight with Caroline. I tried to forget about the fight with Simon and drowned myself in with work until deep in the night. Sadly for once, all the paperwork was done and that was the time when all the thoughts came up again. I went out of the office and made my way to the bar. Opened a bottle of Scotch and just drank. Around 3 am I had drunk the whole bottle of scotch and another bottle of Absolut Vodka. I was so drunk that I didn't know what I was doing. I went out of the house and walked all the way to Simon's house evidently with another bottle of Vodka.

At his house, I didn't ring the bell but I shouted Simon's name until the dogs were barking and the lights in the houses lit up also the light in Simon's house lit up. Hannah opened the door.

"Cole, what the hell are you doing here at 4 am!"

"I want to see Simon I have to talk to him."

"I know that you should talk to him but not when you are drunk."

"But I have to talk to him. I have to tell him everything."

"I bring you home and then you should talk to him when you are sober."

"Okay.", I said but before I could take another sip of Vodka Hannah took the bottle away and took it with her into the house.

"Okay let's get you home."

She brought me to the car and sat me in the back seat."

"I hope for you that you don't vomit because if you do you can pay me a new car."

"Mhh..."

I doze off.
