Chapter 18

p.o.v Cole:

We drove to Sand Point Park and a few minutes later Hannah's Mustang showed up and Hannah got out.

"Did Jack and you have any luck?"

"No. You?"

"Me neither."

Shit. She didn't find him either.

"Where is Caroline?"

Sure Jack had to ask that but really...where was she?

"She should be here any minute. We parted ways so we would be faster."

I just nodded and at that moment a black motorbike showed up in the parking lot. Who was that and what did they want here? Then Jack spoke my thought.

"Who are you?"

Before the unknown person could answer Hannah walked over to them and gave them a hug. What the fuck. Did we miss something!?

"Hey. Did you find any trace of him?"

Then the unknown person took off their helmet. It was Caroline. Who knew she'd drive a bike like that.

"No, I didn't. I hope it's not someone from his past. I swear I'm going to kill them if they do-"

Before Caroline could finish talking, Jack cut her off. And as I looked at him I could see a little bit drool in the corner of his mouth.

"Caroline, you can drive a motorbike!?"

With that Caroline got off her bike walked over to Jack and peeked his lips.

"Hi to you too, babe. And yes I can."

Jack scratched the back of his neck but before he could say anything I cut him off.

"If no one has found him, then something sure happened to him."

With that Caroline's and everyone else's faces turned serious. And Caroline looked kind of scary. She really has to teach me how to do that...Not the time Cole.

Now Jack spoke up.

"I bet it was Elijah."

"Who the fuck is Elijah!?"

Damn, Caroline also sounds scary as hell. How can a girl like her be so scary? Not that I'd ever been scared of her...

"Elijah is my cousin."

I spat his name with venom lacing my voice and Hannah immediately noticed that.

"Doesn't seem like you two have a good relation."

"Of course not. This fucking homophobic bastard wants to take over the gang only because he says I'm too weak because I'm gay."

Now Hannah was really mad and don't even get me started on Caroline.

"Such an asshole.", Caroline and Hannah said at the same time, not creepy at all...

Jack just nodded in agreement.

"He for sure did it I mean you two are having the fight for the gang leader in two days."

"Yes, I know but maybe my dad knows where Elijah's base is."

Hannah and Caroline just looked at us confused.

"I'll explain later let's just go ask my dad."

Everybody nodded and we drove off to the gang house.

As I got there I stormed inside, the three following me.

"DAD!"

My father came walking over to us.

"What is it? And who may your two friends be?"

He looked at Caroline and Hannah suspiciously.

"The blonde one is Jack's girlfriend Caroline and Hannah is Mika's girlfriend but that's not important now..."

He nodded at continued to stare at Hannah.

"Tell me, son, what's the matter?"

"We think Elijah kidnapped Simon to blackmail me and win the title of the gang leader."

"Sounds like him.", my dad mumbled in return.

"Let's go to the office to work out a plan to get back your little boyfriend."

My dad just smirked and I rolled my eyes at his comment. Then we all went to my dad's office to figure out a plan to get Simon back and take down Elijah.

p.o.v Simon:

I slowly started to wake up, my head was pounding and I was chained to a wall. What happened to me and where am I?

At that exact moment, someone opened the door. It was too dark for me to recognise them since there was only one light bulb hanging off the ceiling. That's so cliché.

The person started to walk towards me and as the light hit his face I knew who it was. Elijah. Why did he kidnap me?

"Oh Simon, you're awake."

"What am I doing here?"

"As I said I need your help."

"You said you needed me to distract him."

"Yes, I did. I just have to tell him that I have you and that I'll kill you if he doesn't give me the title of the gang leader. I want to be the leader of the Orlando Serpents. He doesn't deserve to be the leader. He's just a weak little bastard."

"Did you just say he's a gang leader?"

I was shocked. Was Cole really the leader of a gang? Why didn't he tell me? Was that how he found out about Hannah, Caroline and me?

"Oh yes, he is. Didn't he tell you?"
I just looked away.

"Doesn't seem so."

He let out a low chuckle.
"Shut up! Cole isn't weak and it's his decision to tell me or not. And he for sure had a reason not to tell me."

Now Elijah looked angry.

"Don't you dare tell me to shut up. Cole is weak, he's just a stupid fag. A bastard. An abnormality, just like you."

This fucking homophobe.

"What's your fucking problem!?"

"I do not have a problem. You do. You're not normal. You're pathetic and weak. You're a disgrace to this world, just like your father."

"Don't you dare talk about my dad. How do you even know him!?"

"That's actually a funny story. You see, I was the one that killed your parents. I did some research on you and as I found out Laura and Paul McLaren..."

He didn't continue he just started like a maniac. I couldn't believe this piece of scum actually killed my parents. They were good people as far as I know. Why did he do that? I was only a little kid when they were murdered.

"WHY DID YOU KILL THEM!?"

He stopped laughing and looked at me with an emotionless expression.

"They borrowed some money from me and didn't pay it back in time so..."

I just stared at him disbelievingly and as I wanted to say something in return he started talking again. His voice is kind of annoying.

"Enough of the talking, we're going to have little fun now."

He grinned viciously and then walked over to me. I was confused at first but then I saw something blinking in his hand. It was a knife...

As he reached me he started to slowly cut open my chest. It hurt so fucking much. I couldn't hold back ear-piercing screams from escaping my mouth. Then he just ramed the knife in my right leg and left the room.

After some time everything went black. I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. Probably because of the loss of blood.
