Someone else's POV

"Are you sure about bit, bro?"

"Of course. There's no way i'll change my mind. Not when i already made my mind of it. I won't give up bro. Not now, not ever."

5 years have passed and still no sign of her. They keep telling me to give up but their attempts have failed. Oh no, why would i give up to someone who you're supposed to treausre and hold very dearly close to your heart. I promised my mom and a promise is a promise. No matter what they say about 'Promises are meant to be broken'. Oh, i don't care about that.

Oh my mate. My sweet precious mate. Where have you gone to?

All i want is to hold her close in my arms and never let go of her. I just wish that she wants the same.

"Yo bro?" my bestfriend barged in my room
"Ever heard of knocking?"
"What could you be possibly doing that might caught you red handed?"
"I'm your alpha and you should respect my privacy. Doesn't matter what i'm doing or i'm not doing."
"Ever heard of i'm your most trusted bestfriend and so that title holds nothing to me?" he grinned evilly.

"What do you want now?"
"We need to sign a new treaty for the Northern pack" he said, straight to the point.l, returning to his serious self.
"What happened to the last one?"
"Expired"
"Already?"
"Yes"
"Alright, tell Aunt Gin to go here and help me pack. We will leave in a few days. You will stay here and manage the pack with one of the twins and I'll take the other one with me. Got it?"
"yes, Alpha"
"Alright, you may go"

He bowed and left the room, closing the door on the process.

I sighed and looked at the stars up above me.

Does my mate look at the stars and stare at them like i do? I wondered.

I sighed, once again. Just come soon, my dear.

A knock comes on my door just when i'm about to sleep.

"Who is it?" i asked.
"Big bro?"

Rosaline?

I stood up and opened the door.

"Hey what you doing here, little girl? Why aren't you asleep yet?"
"I heard you awhile ago. You're gonna leave?" She whimpered while burrowing her face to my neck.
"Yeah, it's for a few days. To talk about pack stuff and boring adult things"
A warm, wet liquid falls down my neck and to my shirt, soaking it.
"Hey hey, don't cry. How about this you can come but you have to promise that you'll behave, okay?"
"Really?"
"Yeah sure, why not? As long as you promise"
"Okay, i promise"

I kissed her tears away and tucked her in beside me. A few minutes of silence passed and just when i thought she had already fallen asleep, she murmured something.

"huh? Can you repeat that little one?"
"Would you found your mate this time?"
"I hope so, little one. I hope so"
