Black Rose

Chapter 10

Third person's POV

Elise dropped the body unto the ground, landing on the ground with a thud. She placed a black rose and walked away before anymore comes. She checked the body for any file that may help her and successfully took out a piece of paper.

Better than nothing, she thought. Another day, another step closer. A step closer to finding out who is the heartless criminal behind of all of this.

She quickly jumped into a tree and went home in hopes of getting rest while silently sending a prayer to the gods above that the paper in her hands will help her to finally get rid of the chaos happening around her.

Ever since the death of her parents, she only had one thing that she wants and that is to have peace. She's tired from seeing people get hurt and suffer especially people from her pack. They are family.

And when the original Alpha and Luna of the Northern Pack were said to be killed because of a mass murder, they suffered a great loss. Elise the most. From then on, she promised herself to protect and save everyone from harm and that's why she got to finish this mission.

A lot of members have been kidnapped, mostly teenagers. Parents were devastated and some kids aren't able to have fun fully because they have to watch their backs so that they wouldn't be caught.

This is the reason why Elise wanted to finish this as soon as she found out who this is. To save whoever survive and to protect her pack from anymore pain.

Elise is on a mission and she won't stop until she gets what she wants.

A few more jumps later and now she found herself infront of the pack house and she quickly went down and hurriedly went to her room.

A knock is heard outside of her room and the knob twist open.

"Hey girlie"

It was Alpha Leo and Elise noticed that the folders in his hands are the files that she got the other day.

"Hi" she timidly answered. The Alpha then only noticed how exhausted she was and sympathy filled her eyes. Goddess Selene would be the only one who knew how much she suffered and guilt exploded in his  chest. He could've done something to atleast somehow help her..

"Maybe it's best if i come again later, you should rest El" the Alpha softly said.
"No! No, i'm fine. This is also important. I'll be getting rest after this. This kind of information should never be delayed and should be taken as soon as possible."
Alpha Leon sighed, "Alright if you insist."

Alpha Leo sat down beside Elise and placed the folders on her lap and sighed once more.

"We're not entirely sure what these documents are. They are information about teens some of which belong to our pack. These names weren't reported killed but were just reported as missing. Now the only thing we're looking for is why these files are in their hands."

Elise took the folders and opened them. The Alpha's words are true. They were information and most of these were women with high ranks. The information were complete. Name, age, rank, description, parents, pack. Everything.

"We tried to search atleast one of those girls and we found one. The girl was from the Eastern Pack but the location of the girl is near our borders, which we found as weird."

Elise was about to speak when she was cut off.

"We already sent scouts with warriors to check off our borders for any weird moves."

Elise sent a small smile to express her gratitude. She then remembered about the paper she took from her little adventure a while ago and took it out of her pocket.

"I also retrieved another information. I already took a look at it-" she glanced but the Alpha only nodded, gracing a smile on his face. "It was also filled with names but that's all it has names. Some were crossed, some however are checked. I still don't know what it means." She continued.

"Do you think that these folders and this paper are somehow related, Uncle?"
"Somehow, someway, i'd like to think so" the Alpha replied.

Silence enveloped the room, both trying to think of something that may connect these two found information.

Alpha Leo then looked at her, wrapping her in a side hug.

"You should take a rest El"
"Okay"

The Alpha then soon left the room leaving Elise behind with her thoughts to accompany her.

When she was just about to lay down, a knock once more errupted from the door, making her still her movements. She then stood up and went to open the door.

So much for the rest, she thought.

What lays behind the door of her room made her freeze and an apparent blush appeared in her cheek. An immediate reaction she could only get from one person only.

Ravien.

Well, well, what do we have here?? Documents of teenagers huh? Teenage girls to be exact. What do you think what's happening?? What's with all the names??

Just a warning, next chapter will be a fluff. Because as i've already told you, i turned into a soft, fluffy cloud these last few days.
