Chapter 6

Dodging an attack sent by her opponent, she quickly threw a swift punch which sent her opponent staggering backwards.

Under the simmering, hot blaze of the sun, pack warriors are training even harder as trespassers are becoming a problem in their land. Although confused as to why, they still followed their leader because they knew it was for the best.

Elise was in for another challenge. After being informed of the schedule, she, without any hesitation, agreed to train with the new recruited warriors. It's the least she could do she said.

The training went for a pretty while. Elise, every now and then, switching partners in order to know and learn each capabilities of the new members.

A melodic tune pulled her out of her focused state. It was Luna Zyanne.

"Elise, can i speak to you for a short while?"
"Of course." She then turned back to her current opponent and told him that she'll train with him first for tomorrow's training.

The women then walked into the woods, both wanting to have peace while talking.

"It has been awhile since we had a concersation. How are you doing, lovely?" the luna asked.

"Just fine. Still a little bit unstable, but i guess i'm doing alright." she replied sincerely.

Elise had nothing to hide when it comes to talking to the woman beside her. The luna always had considered her as her daughter seeing as after giving birth to her son, she can't bear any child anymore due to having complications in her system. She had always wanted a daughter and Elise seemed to be a given gift from Selene even though she did not come from her truly.

The two kept walking with no any intention of breaking the peaceful aura between them. This has been a bond between the ladies that they created a while back. The sun has begun to set when the luna said something.

"I'm sorry he was not here Elise" she weakly claimed.
"Oh don't be Auntie. We both know that it was out of our hands. You don't have to be sorry for something you are not holding."
"Yeah i know but my son is like your brother and it's time like this when you need him the most."
"Auntie, he was out there doing something very important for our pack. Some of our pack members need to present themselves in order for the pack's image not to be tainted. In addition, you and uncle Leo's support is enough. You both have been here with me while Daniel's out there and i'm grateful for that. Really, there's nothing to be sorry for. We may not know, but Daniel may have found his mate and bring us a game changer" Elise replied with the utmost honesty evident in both her tone and eyes.

Nothing was needed to be said after that. And the comfortable silence wrapped around them once again, enveloping them in a peaceful warmth, neither of the two have felt in awhile.

Elise was about to head back in her room when once again, her attention was called.

"Uncle Leo? You need something?" curiosity blossomed from her inside once seeing her uncle's urgency from his eyes.

"No not really, but the Southern Pack Alpha and a few members of his council are coming over for a meeting about alliance and some more pack stuff. It will happen tomorrow evening and i want you to be there" he announced.
"But why would you want me to be there? I-i'm-" knowing what she's gonna say, the Alpha cut her off
"You're the original leader and you should make your presence. Yes, we would not tell them yet about you but it's also considered you would be there because you are our pack's best warrior." His tone showing finality, not wanting to have a little diasgreement over a meeting.
"Okay, then. Expext me to be there 5 minutes earlier."
"Alright. Goodnight warrior"
"Goodnight, uncle"

Welp here we go again. Yes yes another update. I just want to spoil you since school is nearing and it has also been a while since i updated. This story should've been nearing the climax now but no, i had to be so freaken lazy. Many ideas running into my mind and yet i just write it just a draft!! I have to change *sigh*

Ohkaaayyy, well that was weird. Nevermind that ye? How was it? What do you think of the Luna? I like her tbh. I don't know what came over me to include that but idk it just came up. I just write it😂

Anyways, Leo and Zyanne, the Alpha and Luna, were not really her uncle and aunt. She just call them that because they insisted because as you've read, their parent are best of friends. Elise and the Alpha and Luna are not blood-related. Just wanna let you kniw that. Yeah.
