Chapter 13

Ravien's POV

I found my mate.

It's a thought that haunted me all day and night. I still can't believe it.

I found her.

I finally found her.

It's a hard thing to grasp. I wasn't about to lose hope because i vowed my parents to introduce them my mate when i found her.

That was 2 years ago.

And now i found her.

But as i sit her in a bench in the pack garden, i can't help but think that this is just a wishful thinking.

She's avoiding me.

I don't know what happened last night but she was hellbent on avoiding me. I don't know if she already knew that i'm leaving tomorrow early morning or if something happened, but she's avoiding me.

She locked herself in her room only coming out to get something to eat. It also didn't help that she wasn't talking to anyone. Add that to the fact that she left me a note last night. I'm sorry was all it said. No explanation. No reasoning. Just that.

I have to talk to her.

Just when i decided that i will talk to her, i saw Rosaline skipping towards me, a big grin on her face. And just like that, my mood is lifted.

Rosaline and i are the closest sibling out of the five of us. Yes, there are five of us. I don't know why, but even though she is annoying, i love her.

Alright, quit being a sap Ravien.

"Why are you smiling like that?"

"hmm??" her smile becoming even more bigger.

"Stop that, you're creeping me out. What's got you smiling like that?"

She stopped for a while, seemingly having forgetten what she was happy for. But then she remembered and her smile turned to a scowl.

"Why do i have to hear it from other huh? I THOUGHT WE WERE BESTFRIENDS!" sending an accusatory glare towards me.

"What do you mean? Did i forget to tell you something? I mean- oh. OH!!"

I knew what she was talking about. I didn't tell her yet that i already found my mate. More importantly, i didn't tell her that what or rather who, she told me who will be my mate turned out to be true.

"yeah, oh! Why didn't you tell me? Why did i have to know it by herself?" making her eyes a little larger to give me those puppy dog eyes. Oh no, she knew it was may weakness.

"Sorry little sis but i just got caught up getting to know her, ya know? And also she has a lot going on and i'm doing my best to help her as her mate. I'm really sorry little sis. Can you forgive me?"

She then smiled brightly once again and squealed. Pack members looked at us and i smiled apologetically.

She proceeded to hug me and said "I'M SO PROUD OF YOU BIG BROOO!!" And even in my embarassment, i still smiled because her approval mattered the most to me.

After attacking me with hugs and squeals, she sat down beside me and cuddled my arm. She smiled up at me and i did the same thing to her.

We spent a few minutes silent when i suddenly remembered something she said that was a small important detail.

"Hold up, you said you talked to her?"

"yeah!! She said we could even have a tea party someday!! Oh did you know that she has a cute laugh?!"
