Chapter 5

3rd person POV

Leaping from tree to tree, the harsh wind slapped in her face. Determination being the only one you could read in her. Sharp eyes flittering around. Wandering. Searching.

Soon, voices could be heard making her halt in her trees. Laughter evident behind their tone. Mockery in their voices. She went nearer in order to hear more of their conversation before she goes for a hunt for her meal. Her wolf wanting to be let out. Hungry for some blood to be shed.

"Dude, what you did was hella awesome" a voice said, laughing after saying the statement.
"oh yeah? Well, i'm proud to say that i made a bloody mess! Bodies everywhere. Surrounding me. It made me proud" another person declared loud and proud.

He won't be saying that once i'm done after them. She thought bitterly.

"Hey, did you know who murdered the Alpha parents 9 years ago?" the first voice asked.

This got the utmost attention of the young girl. She strained her ears to listen to the answer of the other person.

"Nah man, master never did mention it to anyone before. But lemme tell ya, those people deserve it. They're selfish, pathetic monsters. They deserve to die."

The last two sentences set Elise off and went down to finish them off. As soon as the girl landed, no sound can be heard. All forest animal turned silent and all that could be heard are the blood-curdling screams of the two people who have been part of the mass murder her parents were invovled with.

Shifting back to her human form, she quickly dressed and grabbed the piece of information she got.

She climbed into a tree and began her treck back home with the paper clutched tightly in her fingers. Afraid that the paper would slip and all of her hardwork will all just go to waste.

Slamming the paper into the table, she got the attention of the 4 people who mattered to her.

"What's that?" Marco asked.

She looked deeply in each person's eyes. Katherine. Marco. Alpha Leo. Luna Zyanne. Each person containing a piece of her heart. These are the people she entrusted. People she'll protect. And people she'll only love.

"It contains files about random murders happening in each pack. I looked through it a while ago. It also has facts and other information about the mass murder but i stopped there before i can read something."

She paused, giving them time to absorb the information given to them. A few minutes passed and she continued.

"There is also a map. Well a sort of map. But the details are rather vague for us to know where the exact location is. But i think it's the location of where their so called master is."

"Wait hold up, master?" Kathy asked. Kathy was the one she considered as her sister. Although they're almost the complete opposite, they never fail to disappoint each other. Always having each other, no matter what.

"Yes, i believe he's the one behind all this. So far we don't have any leads as to who this master is but we're getting closer, i can tell you that." she said.

"Well, no matter what, we'll still be by your side. I just want to remind you that." Alpha said. Alpha Leo always did consider her as his child. Afterall, Elise's parents were his bestfriends ever since they were a child. After they died, he took over in help of the little girl knowing she can't take it for she was grieving. He knew that if she took over while mourning it will only get worse and so he took in all in his hands in honor of his bestfriends.

"I'll be here hun" the Luna softly said.

"Yeah!! I got your six sister" Marco exclaimed.

"Thank you." was all she said and yet, no words are needed to be said at this time, for each of the person understood what she meant at those two words.

Elise turned back and head in her room. As soon as she was inside, she immediately changed into her nightclothes and went into the balcony.

Looking up the stars, she thought, the chase has just begun.
