It was a nice Wisconsin morning. Cath woke up and instantly knew what her calling was for the day.
Target.
Cath threw herself out of bed and nearly hit herself on the bedside table. She got dressed and skipped to find her mom.
Her and her mom got in the car and drove to Target. Upon entering, the smell of Starbucks, popcorn, and happiness filled Cath's nostrils.
It was time to conquer.
After finding more stuff than she originally intended, Cath went to the checkout.
"That will be $23" the cashier lady, Shanice, said.
Cath handed her a $20 and a $5 bill.
"Hurry up!!¡!" Cath's mom shouted at her. Shanice gave her a weird look but right before Cath was about to rush, she started thinking out loud.
"Omg wait..."
The cashier stopped what she was doing and looked at the girl questioningly.
"...Only 52 more days until I get to see Far From Home- woah, Tom Holland is so hot- is that dude wearing a Marvel shirt? Oh my god, my life- when can I marry-"
"Okay that's out of 40" Shanice, the cashier, stops her, shaking her head and going back to the register.
"Yea, whatever" Cath replied, salty towards the woman for interrupting her train of thought.
The cashier gave her $15 back in change.
Cath and her mom left the store and began the drive home.
Cath finally realized the mistake that was made. The cashier must have thought the $5 bill was a $20 bill. Was the cashier blind?
"What da fak do I do??" Cath thought to herself. Suddenly, there were red and blue flashing lights in the rearview mirror.
"Woopa..." Cath said. She then proceeded to text Nikki and Kade, "Help I'm going to jail #oops"
