Soraka had triple checked that her alarm would sound off at the correct time last night, so when it blared on this morning she was relieved to have time to get ready rather than be forced to rush again.

By the time she got to the classroom, a majority of the students were already there and in their seats. Checking the time, they had around six or seven minutes before the first bell would ring and single for them to be quiet. She sat down at her desk, slinging her bag over the back again and taking in who was there and who wasn't. The short male with the purple balls on his head was absent for the time being, along with who she had learned was Kaminari Denki, Ashido, and Uraraka.

Bakugou was harassing Midoriya from his seat, and the poor boy was stuck in the seat behind him. Listening to Bakugou talk down on him was infuriating, especially since no one seemed to be paying attention to them. They still had a couple of minutes left to kill so Aizawa would be in here as soon as it rang. If she timed it right and stalled, she could keep the blondes attention on her without the risk of him doing anything.

"Leave him alone already." Her voice was loud and direct, catching a few people off guard, along with the attention of who she wanted.

"Why don't you mind your own business?" He spoke with such annoyance in his voice, his hand raising in a threatening way.

"Funny, you should do the same thing." She glared at him, a challenge for the hot tempered boy. He forcefully stood and stomped over to her desk, slamming his hand down onto it while the other he had close to her face, small pops of explosions going off like crazy in his palm.

"You better shut the hell up before you regret coming here." His nose was scrunched up and she kept a straight face as she stood up, pushing him back with her finger digging into his chest.

"Um guys, you really shouldn't fight in here." Midoriya's voice was quiet and shaky behind the blonde, who snapped a remark at him.

"Stay out of this you damn nerd."

"That 'damn nerd' seems to have more wits about him than you do. You just like to scare people into submission huh? Do you really think you'll be a likeable hero with that attitude?" She'd only known him for two days - or at least she thought she did - and she already knew that his personality would be more suited for a villain.

"I'll be a better hero than all of you fucking extras. I'm the strongest person in this room ash face." He placed his hand on her shoulder, still popping with baby explosions, but she quickly grabbed his wrist and pulled it off. There was no way in hell she was going to have to get a new jacket again. Smoke curled from her own hand at his wrist and he yanked his hand away to find a bright red mark where she had grabbed him. He scowled at her and opened his mouth but was forced to shut it again as the bell rang and in came Aizawa.

"You better watch it." He growled before returning to his desk, giving a death glare to Midoriya as he passed him. Soraka sat back down, content with herself since she was able to keep his attention off of the quiet boy.

Their homeroom was much easier this time around, giving them both a chance to cool off. She was bored out of her mind when they got to Present Mic's English class and could barely focus on the lesson. She was a bit distracted with what she had done that morning, since she could see Bakugou run his fingers over the mark every now and then, and clench his fist tightly every time he did.

Going to lunch, she stuck with the girls since they were the only ones she had really talked to the day before, other than Kirishima. They all sat together and though it was nice being with them, they all seemed to know that this wouldn't last long as the class might split into little groups of whoever was closest with each other.
