"Soraka? You awake?" Uraraka knocked lightly on the door, stirring Soraka out of her sleep. She pushed herself up, blinking a few times.
"Now I am.." She groaned. The door opened, and there was Uraraka standing there, fully clothed and ready to leave. Soraka stared at her for a moment, confused on why the girl seemed about to go.
Uraraka looked worried and confused. "Weren't we meeting up with-"
"We were meeting up with the others to hang out! What time is it?!" Soraka cut her off and jumped out of bed, her sore body protesting the quick movements. "I'm sorry I thought I had set an alarm!"
"It's 11:24." Uraraka stammered. Seeing the redhead in such a panic took her by surprise. "I'll wait for you on the couch." She left, shutting the door and leaving Soraka to grab her clothes and change. We're supposed to be meeting them in 6 minutes?! She slipped on her shoes, leaving her room while running her hands through her hair. She saw Uraraka sitting patiently on the couch.
"Have you eaten yet?" Sora asked, almost stumbling over the words.
"I have, I can text the others that we'll be late so that you can eat something." She nodded, pulling out her phone to do as she said.
"No no, it's fine, I don't want to keep them waiting too long. It's almost lunch time anyways, I'll be fine." She assured Uraraka, squatting down to tie her laces. "Are they already there?" She stood straight and ran back to her room, almost forgetting her phone and wallet.
"All but Kaminari, but he probably woke up late as well." Uraraka raised her voice to make sure the redhead could hear her. Soraka went to the front door, placing a hand on the metal hande.
"Alright, you ready?" Uraraka nodded and stood up. She locked the door behind them, and the two girls made their way to the mall.
There was a light breeze as they weaved through the busy streets. Soraka grabbed Uraraka's hand, afraid of losing the girl in the crowd. They didn't live too far from the mall, so hopefully they'd only be a few minutes late. As long as they didn't run into any villains, they should be fine.
It was the second day of their mini-break. The previous day, they had texted the class group chat, which everyone was added to - whether they wanted to be or not - for these opportunities. Most of them had been busy with other affairs, or were simply just not in the mood. Those that had decided to come along, voiced their excitement, and they all decided that they would meet at the mall then get lunch.
Soraka pulled out her phone as they neared the entrance, checking the time. In bright white numbers, it showed 11:38. "Only eight minutes late. So where are they waiting?" She glanced over at Uraraka, who was tucking her own phone away.
"They should be..." She paused, then pointed as her face lit up. "There!" Soraka looked to where she pointed just before she lowered her hand. She spotted the familiar pink skin of Mina first. Soraka grinned and approached them, still holding Uraraka's hand.
"Hey guys! Sorry we're late, I think I slept right through my alarm." She apologized.
"Hey you guys!" Kirishima beamed.
"Are you trying to catch someone's eye Soraka?" Hagakure piped up. Soraka looked at where her head would be, just above the collar of her shirt.
"What do you mean?" She gave the invisible girl a confused look, cocking her head to the side slightly.
"She's talking about your clothes!" Mina answered before Hagakure could. "You seem like you're really trying to look cute, and I have to admit, it does make you look cuter. Y'know if that was possible." She winked playfully. Soraa glanced down at her outfit. It was a simple white, off-the-shoulder crop top with long sleeves, and some high waisted jean shorts paired with a thick black belt, which had silver embelishments. The shorts also had rips along the lower seams.
