"Gah! They already started!"

"Kirishima!" Soraka's face lit up at the sound of the boy, and she eagerly turned towards him from her new spot in between Momo and Kaminari.

Kaminari also turned, waving his arm. "Hey! Nice job on getting into the second round, Kirishima!"

"Thanks. Looks like I take down Bakugou next!" He said with his sharp-toothed grin.

Without even taking his eyes off of the current match of Midoriya and Todoroki, Bakugou let out a grunt. "I'll kill you." He seemed more focused on the match than much else of what was going on. She was sure he had only heard them because his name was said.

"Haha! I'd like to see you try!" Kirishima placed his hands on his hips as he let out his laugh, only to pull them in front of him again. "But, man. You and that Todoroki. You can fire off as many of those crazy-strong attacks as you want." He made an explosive motion with his hands to set in his point. Cute..

"As many as we want? Don't be an idiot." His brows furrowed, and his nose scrunched up a bit.

"Huh?"

Bakugou opened his mouth to speak, but Soraka cut him off. "Quirks are just physical abilities. Like when you run or work out, your muscles tear, and that's why you're sore afterwards. They're repairing themselves." She held out a hand, letting a small flame rest in it. "Small things aren't much, but after so long you'll still tire out or hurt yourself. It's just like working out." Kirishima's head tilt told her to explain more. "When you run, if you just keep a slow jog, you can go for a lot longer, but you will eventually get tired. If you decided to just sprint, you'll tire out faster while also getting done faster." She figured he would know this from his own quirk. Maybe he thought it was just like that for transformation quirks, since that is what his is.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." He finally turned his attention to the match. "So up against insta-kill man, Midoriya's trying to stretch out the match."

She nodded. "Exactly. Though it looks like he's just gonna hurt himself too much, and not be able to continue even if he does win."

Midoriya kept firing off shots, but his hand was purple at this point. It was clear that all of his fingers were broken, save for his thumb. His other arm was completely ruined, due to him using it to blow away the ice after his hand was done for.

They both seemed to pause for a moment, before they could finally hear what was going on. It wasn't much to infer off of, but the simple "Gimme everything you got! Come at me!" from Midoriya was enough. Soraka shook her head in disappointment.

"He's trying to get Todoroki to use his fire, which he never does." Nods and hums of agreement. If he does happen to use his fire, Midoriya is screwed. He needs to just take the win while he can instead of throwing it away.

Todoroki went charging at Midoriya, only to be met with a fist to the gut. A cheer roared through the crowd, a collective relief that something different had happened. Todoroki slammed his foot to the ground again, sending another sheet of ice across the ground. It was slower than before, indicating that he was reaching his own limit. It wasn't surprising, the dual-tone haired boy was practically covered in his own ice.

Midoriya brought his hand up to his mouth, using the corner to flick his thumb, and send out another blast. After a few more back and forth hits, they could hear Midoriya yelling again.

"It's your quirk! Yours, not his!"

That set Todoroki off. Flames erupted from his left side, to be met with another yell from the stands. "SHOOTOOOOO! So you've finally accepted it! Excellent! It all starts now for you!" Endeavor stomped towards the railing, his chest puffed out and his head held high. "With my blood pumping through your veins, you will surpass me! You will fulfill my ambitions!"
