"Fire!" yelled Willi.

The first shell that Albert had fired in a tank. The shock waves and recoil pushed him back.  The shooting of the shell made the tank move back and everyone with it. When the shell hit the Russian T-34, it bounced off making an odd noise.

"Fire again, Albert!"

Albert threw the shell in and fired, hitting the T-34's turret ring. In the cool rain, smoke from the tank's gun came out of the barrel and filled the tank. Most of the men started coughing but kept doing their job. Albert looked up at Willi that was looking through the site of the tank. He smiled and laughed.

"Why the hell would you give away your position like that?" he said. "Boys, Ivan has decided to come out to play with us! They blew their cover. Hit 'em with all you got, Albert, quick and easy. Don't listen to my commands, its all on your own now. Don't mess it up!" Willi said to the rest of the crew and the other tanks over the transmission.

Albert took a deep breath and looked into the site of the gun. Boom boom boom! Shell after shell he fired. Shells hit the armor, making multiple fiery holes.

"Aim for the lower front plate and damage their transmission!"

Albert glued his eye to the site and aimed the barrel down with the turning wheel at the lower plate in front of the T-34. He laid his finger on the trigger and the shell shot out. Willi watched as the shell put a giant hole in the front of the lower tank.

"Give him another one, Albert!"

Albert grabbed another shell out of the crates they were in and loaded it. The T-34 was now on fire but the crew had not came out to escape yet, they did not have a chance to because of our machine guns. Bang! The tank blew up in a giant fiery explosion. The turret had came off and pieces of metal flew off in all directions.

The crewman clapped and hit Albert on the back, congratulating him on his victory against his first tank battle with no experience.

"There is still more to come, boys. Albert get back on that gun immediately. There are still five more tanks yet to be destroyed.  Panzer #105 got one just a second ago."

A shell flew right over the tank, making a whistling sound. The crewman quickly ducked their heads. The shell hit the ground close to Albert's tank and exploded, making the tank shake.

"Sheiße!" yelled Willi as he got his eyes locked on the sight again. "They are coming for our tank now. We must have destroyed their top leader. Everyone, get ready. This is going to be one hell of a fight. Albert, this is depending all on you."

Albert nodded and took a deep breath. His eye met the sight once again and he found the next T-34. He placed his finger on the trigger. He stopped squinting his left eye as he saw the turret of the T-34 slowly rise, it was locked on Willi's tank.
