Albert pulled Charlotte closer to him and Albert put his lips on Charlotte's. Charlotte put her arms around Albert's back. Albert's hands fell to her curvy hips and moved around her back. She had stopped crying and she never wanted to let go of Albert. Ernst was looking off in the distance and did not know what was going on behind him.

"Hey guys, I think we should......."

Ernst turned around and his jaw fell to the ground. The first thing he saw was Albert hugging Charlotte. Albert had his hands on Charlotte's back. They gently pushed themself's apart and they both smiled and laughed.

"I guess I should go with you now. Germany is my home too, the place I was born and grew up as a kid," Charlotte said.

"Good. Before we leave tonight, we should eat some of the food me and Ernst found. You can carry a basket of food on our journey if you want to."

"Tonight? Why tonight? I wanted to stay part of tomorrow to get ready."

"Ok, I will do anything that makes you feel comfortable. I will ask Ernst since he is in charge of this, I suppose."

Albert walked over to Ernst who seemed to be lost in a daydream.

"Ernst, ERNST!" Albert yelled.

"What?" Ernst responded while shaking his head and looking back at Albert.

"Charlotte was wondering if we could leave at twelve tomorrow afternoon. I said that was ok with me but I'm not sure about you, is it?

"I.....I guess so. Anyways, it does look like there is some rain coming from the south over in the distance. We can wait until everything is dry to go out. Also Albert, why did you just randomly kiss Charlotte? You don't even know anything about her, personalities or interests. By the way Albert, you have lipstick on your face."

"I might love her. She's the most beautiful girl I've seen in my life." Albert said as he tried to clean the lipstick off.

Ernst slightly nodded his head in agreement. He looked back at Charlotte and she was smiling at both of the men. Ernst looked back up at Albert.

"She is quite a gorgeous woman in all, even with the messy hair she still looks good."

"Don't say that, please."

Albert walked towards Charlotte and told her that Ernst was ok with it. She smiled and looked down at his hands. She grabbed Albert's hand and locked it into hers. Ernst walked toward the couple.

"Is this your home, Charlotte?" Ernst questioned.

"Yes. I moved here when I was 10."

Charlotte walked us inside and we first walked into her living room that contained a brown sofa, a wooden coffee table, and two chairs. Ernst ran over to the sofa and laid on it.

"Take a seat if you would like too, Albert."

Albert went ahead and sat on the wooden chair that had green cushions on it. He folded his hands together and looked at Charlotte in her small kitchen. He looked back at Ernst who had already fallen asleep.

"Would you like anything to drink, Albert?"

"Wine would be nice."

"White or red?"

"Red, please."

The sky was getting dark super early. Thunder rolled in the distance to the south and rattled the windows, including everything on the walls. The sound had woken Ernst who seemed to forget where he was until he looked at me.

"Here you go, sir." said Charlotte as she handed Albert his wine.

Albert gently put the glass on the table and put his arms around his head and swung his legs over the arms of the chair. Charlotte came back in the room and asked Ernst if he would like anything, he declined but maybe in the morning.

"Well, good night to you two." said Charlotte as she walked into the bedroom and starred at Albert in the doorway.

"Albert? Would you like to sleep in my brother's bedroom? It would be horribly uncomfortable sleeping in that old chair."

Albert accepted the invitation. Charlotte showed the way to her brother's room. She closed the door and wished him a good night.

"Ernst, are you fine to stay where you are?"

Ernst nodded his head in response and yawned. She said good night to Ernst too.
