I suck on a lollipop that I had gotten from a candy machine in the cafeteria.

Well, first class cafeteria for billionaires. I wonder why there would be a candy machine there. For kids? No, I rarely see kids here. Probably for people like me, who have a sweet tooth.

I hop back into Lucifer’s office with a pile of papers he has to fill out, and I drop it on to his desk. I pull the lollipop out of my mouth, and I give him a small smile. “The papers you asked for, sir. Anything else?”

“What’s with you?” he asks, eyeing my oddly happy behaviour. “A life, sir. If you’re talking about physical objects, I have a strawberry lollipop.” He scoffs, and takes the first paper. He takes a fountain pen, and writes out something.

I tried to read, I really did.

“Is that another language, sir?” I ask. “Mind your own business. Go to the eightieth floor and ask a servant to lead you to the blacksmith. There, ask the lady to give you a ‘Blood Flamed Scythe’ upon my orders. Hurry up.”

Blood Flamed Scythe? Sounds cool.

“It is certainly not cool. It is fit for the flames you have.” “I thought you said it was called the Flame of the Dark?” I recall. He nods. “The flame itself is given a separate name, and people has named the scythe Blood Flamed, because it was made for your scarlet flame.”

I give a curt nod, and I skip out of the office, placing the lollipop back into my mouth. It’s tasty. Maybe I should get one of these some other time. I step into the elevator with two other dead-looking people, who glance my way and give a respectful bow.

I like how this feels, but I don’t want to get too excited over it.

I press the button to the eightieth floor, and I lean against the steel walls. I stare blankly at the which floor I’m on, listening to the soft sound of my own heartbeat.

The doors open, and I walk out after giving the two zombie men a friendly smile of goodbye. Well, for some reason, they seemed to be quite surprised. I’m starting to doubt whether anybody smiles at these poor people.

The floor is like others, but darker, more paintings and even some weapons on the walls. When a young lady in a familiar outfit passes by, I call out. “Ah, excuse me!”

“Yes, miss?” she asks, a polite smile on her lips. “Ah, could you take me to the blacksmith?” I ask, cursing Lucifer for not giving me specific details. “I beg your pardon? There are many blacksmiths here. Please be more specific, miss.”

Damn you, you stupid frozen popsicle!

“From the unclear orders I was given, I gather she is a woman and she has very powerful weaponry.” The girl stiffens and her face darkens, but she smiles politely. “O-Of course. Follow me, please.” I stick the lollipop back into my mouth.

That really doesn’t reassure me that this will be alright. I’m trusting you just this once, Lucifer!

She turns, and walks towards a large archway, which leads to a wide corridor. It has even more weapons with more paintings. Oh dear, I think to myself as I look at a painting, he looks quite upset.

I continue following the girl, who stops at a large door. “Miss, I cannot go past here. You must go straight, and you’ll find five bodyguards. They will lead you to whom you are searching for. I’ll take my leave.” She says, and hurries off in the opposite direction.
