I left Renz in the past because for some reason he can't go to my timeline. His string only exists on the day where Loise is still alive. And if he goes beyond that he may get lost and lose the chance of finding Loise. On the other hand, I travel back to the present where I left Parisa so that I won't get lost. For me, it seems a really long day but I realized that I only been away for 10 minutes.
Renz told me that souls like us have no limit in time. It is different to us unlike living they are bounded by their body. But souls don't need time so it means if I go back to my memory and stay there for hours then even I go back to the present it will not change the time I left. But it will just change if the soul got lost and has forgotten his present.
Also, soul can't travel forward, souls can only go to the past where their memory is existing unless your string is still alive then that is the only way you can move to their present. Being a soul is much complicated than I thought. Then as I return, I quickly followed the red light that is connected to my wrist. I ended up at a perfume boutique where Parisa is at the counter paying for what she orders.
"Thank you, miss," Parisa replied as she takes the paper bag from the counter and heads out to the boutique.
I watch her that day as she visits different shops and for a while, I can tell that she is happy. I touch her light and it is warm like when she laughs to his dad jokes or when she watches our videos together. She is happy even a little and I can tell it is true. I am glad that she is getting better little by little and now that I know that the taker is only looking for me I feel better. Knowing that she is safe. Now all I need to do is be with her until my time is done, help Renz, and find my sister. But suddenly.
"Excuse me miss," a hollowed voice said as Parisa walk towards the exit of the mall.
Parisa looks at her and smiled at the old woman. The woman grabs Parisa in her arms and pulls her closer. The grip is too tight that Parisa can't remove her arms.
"You are going to die!" She shouted and laugh as hard as she can. Parisa is terrified as she tries to let go.
I was surprised by what the woman said. The crowd looks to Parisa and to the old woman's direction. Then one of the officers in the mall try to separate them.
Parisa's tone is shaking as she tries harder to pull out her arms from the grip of the old woman. But the woman keeps on holding her arms really tight and laughs really loud while saying "die" in repeat. Everyone is terrified of what they are hearing and the officer can't do anything.
"Please let go," she said as she starts to cry.
"Lady please let go of her arms," one of the officers said.
I watch and look ways to help and as I move closer the lady all of a suddenly stared at me. It struck me to my cores as I watch the lady glared at me. Then the closer I look, I notice a smoke covering the old woman from her head down to her shoulder. My soul is like flipping in fear, I can't move.
"Lady, you are hurting me!" I snap as I heard Parisa's terrified voice.
I hesitated at first to go closer to the smoke but my whole soul seems has its own mind. I walk at a fast pace and grab the lady on her shoulder and push her. I thought that I will pass through but then I did. The old lady let go of Parisa and fell on the ground as the lady lose her conscience. The smoke got separated into the body of the woman and quickly move away from the crowd.
"Lady? Are you okay?" the officer said as he carefully checks the woman. Parisa is scared yet she still tries to help.
"I'm a doctor, let me check her." I can tell she's still terrified as her hand shakes while checking the ladies wrist.
