♡ Some souls are too beautiful for this world. That's why they leave.♡

Blaze's P.O.V.
My mind was blurry. These past few days blurred together. Every day seemed to be the same after Melody died. Amy wouldn't step out of her house, she would cry all night and wouldn't talk to anybody.
I looked at myself in the mirror. The black suit I wore fit me perfectly, even after all these years. The same black suit which I had worn for their funeral.
I felt a dull jab at my heart. I combed my hair back and stood silently in front of the mirror.
I heard a knock at my door. I turned around to see Caspian standing at the door. He was wearing his black suit too. He didn't meet my eye. He looked down.
"It's time to leave.",he said.I nodded and walked away from the mirror. I picked up my coat and walked towards Caspian. I took a few seconds to look at his face properly.
I felt guilty about hitting him at the airport. The cuts on his face were slowly healing.
He looked up at me for a second, then steeled his glance before walking away from me.
"I'm sorry.",I said.
Caspian kept walking. He reached the stairs.
"I shouldn't have done that.",I said, moving a step forward.
Caspian stopped and turned around.
"Okay.",he said.
His face was cold, not relaying any sort of emotion."Can you just talk properly?",I gritted my teeth.
Caspian raised his eyebrows at me.
"I think we've had enough of you telling me what to do all the time."I clenched my fists and walked towards him.
"What are you gonna do? Punch me again? Do it, brother. That's what you're best at.", Caspian said.
I clenched my jaw harder.
"Is this about Amy?",I asked. He didn't reply but he looked straight into my eyes.
"Honestly, no."I unclenched my jaw.
"Them what is this about? I thought I already apologized for the scene at the airport."Caspian looked away.
"It's just...never mind.""What is it, Caspian? Spit it out.", I said.
"Amy...I...I knew I liked her before but I began realizing that she was slowly falling in love with you. That hurt me. That hurt me very much. I tried winning her back. That wouldn't work. I got frustrated. Maybe that led to me mistreating her. I couldn't help but feel that you were the better brother. This is not about Amy, brother. This is about you.",he said.
In that moment, I couldn't help but feel as if I was staring at a four year old Caspian in his ratty t-shirt and shorts, glaring at me with his blue eyes because I wouldn't return his transformer car.
