*Nolan's Perspective*
I was careful to not be seen. I sat a little ways down the block wearing sunglasses and a black sweatshirt. I carried a gun in case I got into any trouble.
The target emerged from her house, a young male following behind her. They walked across the street to my sisters house. My sister answered the door and soon the target and young man disappeared into the house. My sister didn't look good. She had bags under her eyes and wrinkles covered her face. She didn't age well in her old age. Although her daughter, she would look at good any age. I laughed remembering Rowan pleading for her life.
"Please, please! How can you do this to me?! Just let me see my mom and Val one last time then I'll go willingly!"
Once I shot her, I watched the life slowly drift out of her body. She had a tear escape her eye before she took her last breath.
I shouldn't stay in this spot much longer. This was a high class neighborhood and a beat up, junkie car looks a little suspicious. The target and the young man emerged from the house, holding a journal. I cursed myself out knowing I should have never let Rowan keep the journal. I let her write her last words in there and returned it when no one was home. I was drunk when I returned it or else I would have burned it. I was being stupid. I picked up my cell phone and dialed my partners number.
"She knows. She goddamn knows!" I screamed into the phone.
"Damn it Nolan I knew I shouldn't have trusted you. I'll bring it up to her at our next session." the woman's voice screamed into the phone.
