Finding Carter

Chapter 13

Lia''s p.o.v   

    Carter just fell to the ground. I was scared for my life. 

      What should I do?

I called 911 crying, He was turning a little pale. Crying was all came out. I ran up to him and kneeled down.

"Carter, I know you may not hear me but, I am right here. I will wait for you" I said barely getting it out. 

Then the ambulance came and took him,

At the hospital~~     

I was allowed to go into the abulance with them, They were asking me questions and talking to other nurses. Most of the time I was silent.

Like what do you do when your boyfriend/bestfriend is sitting there. Looking almost lifeless.

Once we got out of the abulance, they all went inside and I just sat in the waiting room following their instructings by staying. It all happened so fast.

 I was just sitting their fiddling with my phone trying to contact some of his friends like Nash or Cameron.

But this is also when I found this out. Matthew was his friend. Not only his friend but his bestfriend.

Now I'm lost. And confused. Maybe that was why Matthew did nothing when Carter was hitting him. Maybe that was why he just let it all go down on him, Matthew really did like me, but so does Carter. But maybe I just need to find this. Find this secret that they are hiding.

Then a nurse came up to me loosing my train of thought. I looked up.

"Are you here for Mr. Reynolds?" she asked.

"Yes I am. Why?" I asked getting a little worried.

"Are you his sister or lover?" she said looking down at her paper.

"Girlfriend" was all I said.

"Okay well you can come with me and go see him. Do you know anything about his family or anything and why this could of happend to him?" she said looking back up at me.

"His dad left him when he was little. His mom died too.."I said holding back tears. "I don't know about his sisters or anything." I said looking back up.

"Okay well follow me ma'm" she said. I got up and followed her to room 348. This most be where Carter is.

We walked in and he was laying there. Eyes closed. Oxygen going into his nose. And stuff on his arm.

The nurse left after checking his meter and such. I pulled a chair up to his bed and sat down.

I looked at him and just cried. How can this happen?

3 hours later~~   

I talked to my mom and she said that I could miss some days of school until Carter can get out of the hospital. 

Also my mom is out of town again! For maybe like a couple months. I really don't like having her not here, but it's a good she isn't sometimes.

Other good thing is that I wouldn't have to worry about my siblings for awhile.

As for right now, Carter hasn't woke up or anything. They said that he should wake up in maybe 24 hours but who knows.

So I decided to go back home until they called me back.

Back home~~   

Once I was home I came in to find most of Carter's friends. They all looked like a mess. Like they were confused and scared. I would too.
