Lia's p.o.v

I woke up and no one was there. I had gotten a text from my mom saying to meet her in her room not too long ago.

I walked in there and saw some stranger sitting on her office chair and laughing with her.

"Oh hey hunny, I have some things to tell you." She said smiling at me. Oh this should be good. I thought.

I sat down and looked at her waiting for her to continue.

"Okay so this may be a big suprise, but Im getting married again!" She said happily. Like yeah I am happy for my mom but this guy seems suspicious.

"Oh thats great" I said with a fakish smile on my face.

I walked out of the room once she was done talking to me and decided to see where Matt was.

I texted him about a couple hours ago and never got a reply back. I was really starting to worry. Maybe he left his phone and it died? Yeah probably that. Im gonna stick with that.

2 Years Later (sorry for the big skip)

So today was my 2nd year at my college and everything is fine. Matt and I are still together strong and yes my mom did marry that guy. His name is Jerry.

But lately Matthew has been down and its really been making me worried. I got a call from Matt and answered it in front of Jerry.

"Ugh! Is that the little boy toy! Why won't he just leave you alone?!" Jerry yelled walking out back and slamming the door.

I also forgot to mention that he doesn't like Matt. I have no clue why, Matthew is everything nice to him. Never mean.

As we were on the phone Matthew was really sad. I had no idea why.

"Matthew, whats wrong..?" I asked.

"Lia I need to tell you something." Matt said.

"You know you can tell me anything right?" I said. What if he's breaking up with me? Oh my god. No don't think that.

"Its kinda hard to say this over the phone.. can you meet me at the park at 8.?" Matthew asked.

"O-okay" I answered very shakey.

"I love you Lia, okay? Always remember that." That was the last words Matthew said before he hung up.

Later that night~

I was currently walking to the park to meet up with Matthew like planned. I was honestly scared; I have no idea what he wanted to tell me.

I got there and saw him with something in his hand. A note?

"Hey Matthew," I said. He stood up and hugged me tight. Tighter then our usual hugs. Then he handed me the note.

"Please read this when you get home." He said that then gave me a long passionate kiss. Then ran home. It kinda sounded like he was crying.

I kinda just stood there taken back with everything. I started walking home then got inside. I walked upstairs, took my shoes and hoodie off then read the note..

Heres what it read:

Dear Lia,
If your reading this, I want you to know that I hate you so much! I will never love you. Your such a bitch. You never cared for me. Even when Im sad! I hate you so much. Im glad Im leaving this college to leave you! I will never miss you, or our kisses!

After I read that. My life was officially done. Matt really thought of me like this?

I cried that whole night even the whole next day.

When I woke up 2 days after I got that note. My friend Kaile called me.
K- Hey, uhm Matthew left me a message.
L- Oh really, what does he want to say now..?
K- He says: look in your hoodie pocket from that night. There's something else.
L- Uhm, okay. I'll text you later...

We hung up then I started to look for my hoodie.

Once I found it I looked thru the pocket and pulled out another note.. oh great.

This note read:

Dear Lia,
Hopefully your stepdad saw the other note, but it was supposed to be switch to this:
Hate=Love
Never=Always
Bitch=Cutie
Glad=Sad.
Im sorry if you thought I hated but I never will. Please text me once you have read this note. I love you Lia, and Im going to miss you.
