Sorry guys I had this chapter ready to go but didn't publish.. whoops.
We walked out of my house and Matt ran in front of me to open my door.
"Quite the gentleman" I said to him smiling. This date already is amazing!!
It was starting to get dark outside as we drove to this 'magical place'. I smile at the thought of how goofy Matt is.
"Here put this on." Matt said handing me a bandana. I took one last look outside and saw it was dark, then I put it on. Matt turned up the radio because we weren't talking anyways and he hummed to the songs.
About 10 minutes later Matt told me to take my blindfold off. I took it off and my mind was blown. We were in the park. The trees were all lit with white lights. There was a small picnic on the ground perfectly in placed in the middle.
I turned to him and kissed him. "Matt this is amazing!!" I told him still shocked.
"All for you." He said. We went and sat down at the picnic. We talked about ourselves more.
"Lia, I know I have messed up in the past but, this is like a little 'Im sorry' present-" he paused. "I love you Lia." Matt finished.
"Lia, I really do want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know we are young and stuff but it's true. I do. Will you be my girlfriend?"Matt said.
I was probably like smiling like an idiot or something but had the courage to speak.
"Yes Matt, I will be your girlfriend. I love you too" I told him and went over and kissed him.
"Now may I have this dance?" He asked me standing up and holding his hand out.
"You may" I told him and grabbed his hand.
Then slow christmas music started playing. This has been the best date I have ever had. :)
