Finding Carter

Chapter 19

As Matt came over I told him all about me just going to move on without Carter. Then his face lit up like a Christmas tree. 

That's new.. We talked some more and he really listened. I think I'm actually discovering feelings again for Matthew. 

Maybe we could be together again? 

After us talking for awhile he told me he had to go. I was okay because I actually wanted to go to the spa today with Anna and Kelsie.

"Hey" I yelled upstairs. Kelsie and Anna looked down and saw me. 

'Wanna go to the spa and get our nails done?" I asked them. They shook their heads yes and went to get ready. As I was waiting for them I got a text from Matt.

Matt: Wanna hang out tomorrow?   

I replyed with a yes and went to grab my keys. I noticed Matt left his wallet here so I will go drop it off to him as we head to the mall.

To Matt: Hey I'm going to swing by and drop of your wallet, are you at the hotel? And also when do you guys leave to Florida?

Matt: That's cool. Yeah I'm here and we aren't doing the tour anymore. We decided to do it another time.

To Matt: Okay well I will be there soon :* see ya

Matt: Okay :*    

As we walked out the door Kelsie started talking about school. I totally forgot about school. We've just been on Thanksgiving break so I wasn't like paying attention about it but, I should also get my homework done..... whoops..

We drove to the hotel they were at and I went up and knocked on the hotel door he was staying at.

"Hey Matt." I said handing him his wallet. 

"Thanks Lia. Wanna come in?" He asked.

"Sorry but, I can't I'm going to the mall with Anna and Kelsie to get our nails done." I said. 

"I wanna come!!" Matt said in a girly voice.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah." He said

So we walked downstairs and walked to the car. 

"Back" I told Anna. 

"Dangit!!" She yelled. All I did was laugh and Matt and I got in. 

We drove to the mall and went to the spa and got our nails done. Matt was sitting in there too with us making us get in trouble once in a while because we would move while they were doing our nails.

As we walked out we saw Carter and Annabelle sitting at this pretzel place eating. I looked at Matt and he told me not to worry about it. 

I looked at them one more time and then back at Matt and nodded. 

As we were walking to look through some stores Matt grabbed my hand and held it.

I looked down at our hands and smiled. He looked at me and smiled also.

Then I looked around and saw that Anna and Kelsie went off on their own. I didn't mind that me and Matt got to be by ourselfs so I allowed it. 

After we were done I texted Anna and Kelsie to meet us at the car. Me and Matt walked out still hand and hand.

I loved the touch of his hand. It was really smooth. As I was about to pull into the hotel he told me to keep going to my house. 

I smiled and drove on.
