Finding Carter

Chapter 22

So today is the date. I woke up to Matt shaking me. I took him back to the hotel so he could get ready. They were also leaving the hotel tomorrow so they can get to school and such. 

When I pulled up to the parking lot I saw Carter and Annabelle sitting in Carter's car talking. I tried not to have to park next to them but, I had too. There wasn't any other parking spots opened.

I gave him a quick kiss and it turned into a small make out session. That's kinda weird. Because they might be watching.

"See you tonight" Matt said before giving me one more kiss and getting out to go to his room.

I look beside me and saw Carter looking directly at me. I noticed Annabelle wasn't in there anymore. I quickly turned my head and thought. What happened between them? 

I watched as I backed out and drove to Starbucks to get some coffee so I'll be more awake.

I texted Matt and asked when I should be ready. 

I waited for a response while I did I ordered and drove home. I didn't check my phone while I was on the road to be safe. But his answer was:

Be ready around 6. Carter is upset so I was talking to him.   

Oh that's why. I replyed with and okay and a sad emoji. 

I decided to go check if Anna and Kelsie were awake and here. I went upstairs and checked. Yep still here.

Keith was still gone because of his college thing, he was staying at a hotel for awhile for that.

I went downstairs and ate some cereal. I cleaned up and went upstairs and changed into leggings and a big sweater with uggs. I went to the bathroom and put my hair up into a bun like. 

I grabbed my purse and keys. Before I left I went upstairs and told Kelsie and Anna where I was going.

I went to the mall to find a new outfit for tonight. I texted Matt and he helped me with what kind of cloths I should wear. 

I picked out a pretty red dress that would go good with this. I also got some nice heels with it. 

I went home and since I had a couple more hours that I would clean my room up and then get ready.

Once I was done I was actually proud of myself for doing that cause' I barely clean.

I went to my bathroom and took a nice shower making sure to wash my hair good.

I got out and put on some shorts and a tank top and blow dried my hair.

I curled my hair and pinned some of it back. I put my make-up on and went to my closet to change into my outfit.

I decided to put a leather jacket on it cause It's a little chilly outside. I put on a little necklace and thought I looked good.

I saw Matthew posted a picture of what he would look like on the date so I did also.

I felt really pretty at this moment.

Then I got a text from Matt saying he was leaving now. I was really scared. I don't even know why though. I did a double check of my outfit, hair, and make-up. I went to Kelsie and Anna rooms and told them where I would be at.

I then heard a knock on the door downstairs. Matthew was standing there with a white rose. I kissed for a second and put the rose in a nice vase. 

Then we were off to this magical date.

So next chapter will be their date. I wonder what it will be :) ~Kaitlyn
