Finding Carter

Chapter 10

                                                    Matt's p.o.v

I looked for her today. I noticed she was gone. But I also noticed something else.... Carter wasn't either....

                                  Lia's p.o.v 

So currently me and Carter are baking cookies.

"What would happen if your mom saw your kitchen a mess?" Carter asked out of no where

"Hmm maybe be mad a little or just make us clean it up.. why?" I asked.

"Because of this" He said and got up and ran to the bowl of cookie dough and through it at me. I gasped and ran to the bowl too grabbing a big chunk and throwing parts of it at him. 

When we were done with our fight the oven bell went off. We hurried and got the cookies out and put them on the counter to cool off while me and Carter cleaned my kitchen. When we were almost done the doorbell rang.

I looked at Carter and got up to go answer it. When I opened the door Matt was standing there.. School wasn't even out yet.. Or did he even go to school? 

"What are you doing here?" I said wanting him to leave

"I just want to explain.." he said looking down. I already saw his bloodshot puffy eyes

"You have 10 minutes" I said while moving a little so he can come in. Once Carter saw him he got up off the floor quickly and came to me.

"Why is he here?!" Carter asked getting a little mad

"He just wants to explain. He only has 10 minutes so don't worry. You can be here the whole time" I said trying to keep him calm. 

He calmed down and we sat down in the livingroom.

"Okay, explain" I said crossing my hands

"Okay well, I didn't mean to cheat on you. That girl has some deal with me and her little group of fakies. I love you Lia. And only you." Matt said crying.

Carter held my hand tightly. "Okay well I know she is stupid and fake. I do believe you,but I can't take you back. Matt you really did hurt me. You could have talked to her into doing something else then that. I'm sorry but your time is up you have to leave." I said with full confident but with some sas

"Fine, you weren't worth anything anyways!! Maybe I should go back to Lillian!! She was worth loosing everthing for!!" he said madder then ever and got up to get in Carter's face.

"You will leave her too cause you know she is a piece of trash! She is just one of those losers no one likes!!" Matt said. And as soon as he said his first word Carter was up.

That's when it all went down....

2 HOURS LATER  

The fight was terrible. I was so glad it was outside at least. Cause if my mom found out it was inside and there was blood on the carpet she would be sooooo mad.

So the whole fight was just Carter hitting and punching Matt. And Matt just cussing, calling me names, and taking all of what Carter was doing. He didn't hurt Matt badly. He just has bruises and cuts.

But the weird thing was; Matt was taking all of what was happening.... Why?
