Jake
"I love you"
Three words that I've never said with such truth before. Why was I saying them to a girl who's left me? Because I've never felt this way about someone before. She lights up the room whatever the situation. When she smiles the hairs on my arms lift up because I know she's the one. From the first day we met, walking down the hall of her office as she sings our song like an angel, I knew there was something different about her.
But why's she left?
She was so exited this morning to be here, we were going to explore Australia then New Zealand together. We planned to have a picnic on the beach just like we always do but this time I had something special in mind...

Pulling himself together, Jake mopes his way into Josh's room.

"She's gone", I whisper, barely stringing the two words together.
"What? Who?", Josh questions in a state confusion.
Handing him the tear soaked note I stammer, "here look."
"But I don't understand, why and where is she going? Did she say anything or hint at it?", Josh fires.
"No of course not! Do you think I'd let her go that easily, she's the love of my life?"
"Jake it's okay, don't be so angry at yourself. We'll sort this out together", consoles Josh, "how about you phone her?"
Nodding pitifully at myself, I take Josh's advice.

Reaching for the phone in his pocket Jake dials your number as his whole body becomes tense in anticipation. It begins to ring and ring and ring...

You
About to board the first flight I could get back to England I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.
It's Jake.
I can't answer it, he'll try to come and bring me back. As much as I want to I can't. A million thoughts flood my mind and my eyes begin to overflow dainty droplets of worry.
Minutes later, after pulling myself together and shuffling in to my designated row, I grab a pad and pen out of my luggage.
I'm a writer so what would be a better way to get my mind clear than writing it all down. I begin to scribble away ensuring myself...
Look you know to leave was the best decision, there couldn't be any other way. You couldn't stay with the boys, even if it meant you and Jake being together, after all they've done for you.
Of course you'll see them again and Jake he's the love of your life you'll find your way back to him. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad for them to know...but you can't risk it not when they are in the middle of a tour. Plus it will be good to have some time without any distractions and then you can really focus on your book.

"That's it!", you accidentally shout out loud, as the pretty Latina girl on the seat next to you giggles sympathetically while you apologise. That's how I can tell Jake.

After a never ending and tiresome journey home your finally about to knock on your door.
"Come on, it'll be okay", you whisper under your breath.
With a weary arm i recreate my childhood 3 thud knock upon the pillar box red door frame. Anxiously I play the waiting game.

But finally I see her, my best friend, my mother. She swallows me up in a warm hug with a confused but happy look smeared across her face.
"Has the tour ended already?", she questions.
My lip begins to tremble but trying to keep myself together I just longingly sigh, "no."

"Well why are you home, of course I'm overjoyed to see you but you've left behind a whole life"

"Mum...", dropping my bags as rush of tears cascades out of my sapphire eyes I wail, "everything is turning upside down for me, it was going so well and I've had to leave. I love Jake mum and I couldn't even bring myself to tell him I've gone, I'm awful."

I can see her heart break in front of me to see the sight of her own daughter break down and she doesn't even know the secrets I have locked up inside of me.

Placing her hand over her mouth in shock, she muffles, "ohhh honey, come in, tell me all about it. You can trust me. Stay here as long as you need to, forever if you want!"

You tell her everything. What it was like, how the boys always surprised you and why you left. The world feels like it has been lifted from your shoulder. She took everything so much better than you imagined. You feel a warm sensation grow inside of you; even though you've left your life behind, for now, you feel so safe.
After your first immediate family meal in 5 years, you curl up in your bed. It's so much comfier than you remember, especially with the twinkling lights that glitter like fire flies surrounding your room-hopefully they sprinkle some light on your unorganised thoughts. Grabbing your laptop, you begin to write the last chapter:

'So what happens on tour stays on tour, right?'...
