Y/n's P.O.V.
It'd been 2 days and he still hadn't replied. I felt lower than ever knowing I didn't have the support from the love of my life.
"He obviously doesn't want me in his life anymore," I whimper to Eloise as tears being to trickle down my cheeks, "I don't blame him though, he's got the world at his fingertips why would he want this to ruin his life."
"Don't say another word", El sternly begins, "If he doesn't want you or his daughter in his life, he's not even worth your time wanting him in your life. You're the bravest woman I know, leaving for New York at 20? Pffft you've done that. Travelling the world? Pleaseeee, you've seen it all. Published author? Like taking sweets from a baby. You are the perfect image of a strong independent woman, you don't need a man. Look, I know it's hard to accept but you can do this; you'll always have me."
"I'm sorry for being such a mess, it's just I felt different about Jake. And you're the bravest woman i know. We can be strong independent women together. What if...we find a place together once we're out of the hospital?", you question full of hope.
"Yes! I'd love that. We don't a patriarchal figure in our lives." She giggles delightedly, saluting to the idea.

Later before our food came, (we hated the hospital food so we often got a member of one of our family to bring us something), we scrolled through multiple apartments and houses. We imagined what out house would look like:
"We need a pink wall somewhere."
"Definitely, in the front room maybe?"
"Yes! Then we could have grey and white furniture?"
"I can see it now-pink walls, grey couch, white storage and ROSE GOLD accessories."
"Quotes! Lots of music quotes on plaques in the halls."
You can imagine how long this carried on for...
