"let's set this straight, babe."

♡♡♡

Laughter could be heard from around the canteen. I looked up to be met with the face of Sarah Orzechowski and her boyfriend, Brendon Urie. Brendon was also my brother's friend. I looked over to Pete and Patrick who were watching in shock as Sarah grabbed my head and slammed it into the seat of the table. My vision went slightly blurry, but I could still hear the laughter of other students around. I watched as Brendon sat down on the bench and watched, he too was also laughing. Pete sat there not knowing what to do, Patrick has stood up and ran off somewhere. Everyone in the canteen started to crowd around us.

I felt a liquid slowly spill down my head, I quickly placed my hand there and pulled away seeing blood on my hands. I placed my hand where Sarah had smashed my head and kept it there.

"Hey, slut. Enjoyed looking at my boyfriend did we?" Sarah yelled. I looked at her confused.

"Let's set this straight babe, he's the most popular boy in this school. Not only is he popular, handsome, and the best person here, but he's also MY boyfriend."
She pointed at herself as she said 'my'.

I didn't say anything, I couldn't. My chest tightened as my breathing quickened once again. My body felt weak and started shaking. Everything started getting blurry. I felt Sarah kick my stomach.

"Not gonna reply, huh? You whore. Stay away from my boyfriend."

She pulled my hair, making me face her as she yelled in my face. Sarah soon pushed my head down, I was too weak to keep myself up so the rest of my body collapsed on the floor. I watched Sarah grab Brendon's hand and walk away, the crowd soon leaving too as the bell rang, signalling that lunch was over.

I was left on the floor. Unable to breathe. Unable to speak. Unable to move. I watched Pete, Patrick and Ryan all run over to me as soon as everyone had left. I was struggling to breathe at this point. I couldn't hear anything the boys were saying. Soon enough, I passed out.
