I think one of the most stressful parts about School as a tennager is probably the little friendship groups form that seem to dictate where you stand in the social hierarchy. So much unnecessary stress is based around this and it's something I can never comprehend. I also don't understand why you need you need to be popular and why smart people are viewed as ' tryhards' and in fact teased and bullied for knowing the answer to a question. In my opinion it doesn't matter how pretty you are if you only have the ability to comprehend 1+1=2

It's so frustrating when you have a crush on a guy who barely notices you for anything more than being the girl who people go to when they don't know the answer to a question. You would think that they would notice that there is more to a person than their looks and how dumb they are. I swear it's literally the only people tennage guys seem to like, the girls who are too dumb to call them out on their bull shot and are pretty enough for their standards.

I don't see myself as a very pretty person but I like the think that I am smart on some level, I just don't like it when people think that being smart is a bad thing because of the views young people have set up for them selves. It's not even just girls this happens too because I know guys who get relentlessly teased and name called for being smart, and it's mainly for the people who are part of the popular groups

As if school itself isn't bad enough but then you have people who try to get you down for actually doing good in it.
