Snuggles and Mornings

Lena tried to sit up in bed but a pair of strong arms pulled her back down, making her groan. "Kara."

"Five more minutes," she murmured, nuzzling her neck with her nose.

"You said that ten minutes ago."

"Babe, it's a Saturday. You don't have to go to work."

"I was trying to make you breakfast."

"Breakfast can wait, snuggles first." Lena tried to protest by squirming but Kara kissed her shoulder and held her hands, making her sigh as if she were annoyed.

"You think you can—"

"I can and I will. Stop acting like you hate it 'cause I know you love it." Lena grumbled and got comfortable in the bed, pressed back against her girlfriend's front, pretending to fume before she sighs in content, a small smile on her lips. 

Kelly shifted in bed, rolling over on her side, smiling when arms find her torso once again. "You're so clingy," she murmurs sleepily. She sighs happily when Alex kisses her shoulder and nuzzles her hair from behind.

"I get to sleep in a bit with my girlfriend on a lazy Thursday morning, I don't know what you'd expect," she muttered in her ear, making Kelly chuckle and turn around to lazily crack open her eyes and see Alex's staring right back at her through her messy hair, making her chuckle once more.

"You're adorable."

"Don't tell Kara that I actually let you say that 'cause she thinks it's fitting even though I'm—" She smiles when Kelly's lips stop her from going on a tangent, sitting up a bit on her arm so she can cup her cheek and brush back her hair, seeing both of them with grins when they open their eyes.

"Yeah, you're really adorable," Kelly chuckles and the bow of Alex's head makes her laugh even more.

"I'm just trying to shower you with love and affection and this is what I get in response?"

"Hey, it's either this or someone has to make coffee."

"Yeah, I love coffee, but I love you more."

The brunette sits up so she can kiss her passionately, grinning under her touch where her fingers began to roam and she chuckled as she tickled her skin. "I love you, too."

Lena chuckled when Kara's arms wrapped around her waist as she was sipping her coffee. "Hi, love."

Kara set her head down on her shoulder, somewhat burying her head in her neck, probably smiling. "Hey."

She pushed her raven hair to one side as she looked down at her girlfriend. "Are you alright?"

The blonde nodded, looking up with a smile. "Just really happy."

"If you're happy, I'm happy."

Kara kisses her cheek and just holds her tighter. "I love you, Lena Luthor."

"I will never tire of hearing those words come out your mouth." She grins when she kisses her cheek once more. "And I love you, too, Kara Zor-El."

Kelly chuckles from the table as she hears Alex moving around the apartment, still cursing up a storm in frustration when she heard about a robbery and some last Children of Liberty followers were creating havoc downtown. "Babe, your work explosives are in the front drawer, we talked about this." As she takes a sip of her coffee, Alex kisses her hair swiftly. 

"God, what would I do without you?"

"You probably don't want to find out."

"Yeah, I really don't."

Supergirl comes flying back into the apartment to find Lena putting on her blazer and fluffing her hair out from underneath. "Some of the remaining Children of Liberty stragglers are stopped, the money from the robbery at the bank was back and deposited, and we're both somehow late for work."

Lena smiles as the blonde wraps her arms around her waist, leaving her to dangle her arms off her shoulders. "Well, maybe you could ask your boss for forgiveness, considering you are the Ace Reporter of CatCo Worldwide Magazine."

Kara scrunches up her mouth and face. "Ah, she doesn't like to show favoritism."

"I think she can let this one slip." Lena kissed her chastely, as they both had on lipstick. "After all, it was a decent morning."

"Because I was able to make breakfast for once." The Luthor hummed with a grin as they slightly swayed. "Yeah, it wasn't a bad start."

"And it's going to get even better because Sam and Ruby are in town, which means we get a family night for once with the gang all here."

"Perfect." Her brow furrows as she hears something in the distance of the city and the Luthor kisses her nose to get her attention back.

"Go. I'll see you later." Kara kisses her swiftly, saying her goodbyes and I love you quickly before she's out the window once again, leaving her girlfriend to shake her head with a smile as she neared the door.

"Babe, I haven't—"

"I told Nia and Brainy to pick up some breakfast and coffee for you and everyone at the DEO 'cause I knew you were going to be late," Kelly says as they're at the door, combing back some of her stray hairs from her DEO styled hair. "Please don't forget to eat."

"You sound like Eliza," Alex murmurs before kissing her lovingly. "I love you."

Kelly grins as she kisses her again chastely. "I love you, too." She hands her helmet over with a kiss on the cheek and has to push her girlfriend that has that cheeky grin on her face. "Go, Director Danvers."

Supergirl touches down in the DEO, striding down the steps, smiling at Brainy as he joins her. "Good morning."

"A good morning, indeed, because we have provided breakfast."

"I love you."

"Back off." Dreamer rolls her eyes as she meets them at the bottom of the stairs. "On the behalf of Kelly Olsen, though, not us."

"Let me guess—"

"Who said I was late?" Alex said as she rushed in from the hallway to where they were in the center of the room, going towards the mainframe to where the breakfast of donuts, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee awaited. "Not me. Definitely not me, I was not—"

"Alex." Kara chuckles at her sister as she turns a darker shade of red than she already was from running in and getting flustered. "Relax, please, and eat a donut." Alex does as she says, stuffing her face full of a crueler.

"Waa cwimes diswrupted my peaceful morning with my girlfriend?" she asked around the donut, making all of them laugh. "What??!"

"You're not so threatening when you have a donut in your mouth," Nia giggles.

Alex swallows and wipes her mouth as she puts her pastry down, scowling at the alien. "Oh, you're so getting it, Nal." Nia yelps and hides behind her mentor.

"Can't beat a Kryptonian, can you?"

"Trust me, I have."

"Shut it, Alex!"
