"This... doesn't change anything, right?" Kara asks quietly as she hops into her jeans on one foot before the other. At her silence during her struggle to get them back on, Kara's brow furrowed and she turned around and saw the brunette right on her, which surprised her; her body did as well, even if she spent all night on it.

"Hi," she stutters, turning red at the face.

Lena studies her face and murmurs, "Honestly, it does and does not. But... I'd be very, very interested in where this could go."

"Good," Kara mutters with a grin. "'Cause I think I'm going to like it very much." She tilts her chin up to catch her lips and walk her back to the bed, falling on top of her once more. "Go out on a date with me?" she murmured against her lips.

Lena held her face with a hand kissed her softly and passionately, grinning when Kara moaned. "I'd love that."

Once Kara left (not without a few distractions), leaving her personal phone number with her, Lena sat up and called her friend.

"Sam—"

"We just slept with hockey stars," they said at the same time.

"Ruby loves the Grizzlies!"

"I had no idea!"

"Alex, Kara, and Maggie are her favorites! I thought they sounded familiar!"

Lena slumped back in bed with a sigh. "Do I want to know how your night went?"

She heard Sam sigh dreamily over the phone. "Alex may seem like a tough cookie but God, she's so amazing. How was Kara?"

"Oh Jesus Christ," Lena moaned, making her friend snort over the phone.

"Bet you said that more than once last night."

"Samantha!" Her snickers were loud in her ear, making her roll her eyes.

"Sorry, sorry."

"No, you're not."

"No, I'm not." Lena knows well that she has on a shit-eating grin on her face. "Hey look, I might've mentioned about my kid loving her team once she told me—"

"It's Kara's team," she corrects. "She's captain."

"Whatever," she scoffs. "So I mentioned that she plays hockey, so Alex invited us to see them after their practice, which ends in two hours."

"And Kara just left five minutes ago," Lena mutters. "Alright, count me in. Pick me up?"

"See ya later." Lena hangs up and groans, not sure of its meaning and where it came from. After showering off last nights... remains, she got dressed in blue skinny jeans, a green, loose v-neck blouse, going over a few emails and eating a fruit salad during her time.

After two hours and a Here text from Sam, she arrived downstairs in the lobby of the apartment building and saw Ruby run towards her. "Aunt Lena!" She grins as she hugs her abdomen, hugging her back tightly.

"Hey, Icey." She kisses the top of her head and grins up at Sam when she comes over to them. "Got your hockey things?"

"Yeah!" Ruby's literally jumping with excitement, her black and white number 49 jersey going up and down with her. "Mom told me you guys met a couple of the Grizzlies."

"We did more than meet them," Lena mutters as she runs a hand over the girl's hair, getting a cough from Sam.

"C'mon, she said they'll keep a few of them behind so we can meet them properly." Ruby runs back outside to the car and the mother shakes her head. "God, this is going to be a mess."

The three get to the arena and Lena forgot her light hoodie, but she'll manage. Ruby's got her hockey bag over her shoulder and her grin is huge when she sees seven women up close on the ice, chasing each other to try and get the puck that glides between a stick while a small Latina woman with brunette hair and blonde tips, a white jersey with the number six in black, and gear—who Ruby knew was Lucy Lane—was at the goal.

"Come on, Vasquez!" the blonde taunts. "Speed up, short stacks."

Maggie and Vasquez look at each other and nod. The former broke the chasing circle to go to the other side in front of Kara, who was forced to stop while Vasquez took the puck from her and shot it at the goal, sliding in between the goal post and Lucy's skate.

"That's what I'm talkin' about!" Maggie high fives her teammate and they knock stick heads together.

A number twelve takes her helmet off when she sees the girls at the skating rink entrance. "Looks like we've got company," she says, ruffling up her short, red hair.

All of them look towards them and a number forty-eight jersey turns towards the door and pulls up her helmet, showing it was Alex. "You guys came!" She skated towards them and took her helmet off in the process, shaking her hair a bit when she stopped and sprayed a little ice, running her fingers through it.

"Hi," she greeted Sam a bit nervously, nodding at Lena and looking down at Ruby with a grin. "Hey, kid. I'm—"

"Alex Danvers of the freakin' Grizzlies," Ruby says, star-struck.

Alex chuckles as she gets off the ice and leans her stick against the door. "Get over here, nerds!" The rest of the team takes off their helmets as they come over to them, shaking and tousling their helmet hair. "Guys, this Sam, Lena, and Ruby. In number six is Lucy Lane, our goalkeeper."

Lucy salutes with two fingers and grins devilishly. "Oh, you're the ones who—"

"Callate, Lane," Alex demands, getting a snort from all Latinas and made Sam blush a bit at hearing her Spanish. "Seventeen is Susan Vasquez, defenseman," she says with a point, said woman waving.  "Maggie Sawyer, enforcer."

The ninety-one jersey juts her chin up in greeting with a grin. "Gotta do 'em dirty. Probably just like—"

"There is a child present, you idiot!" Maggie rolls her eyes and grins as she continues. "Sara Lance, four, winger." The blonde smirks and shoots finger guns. "My sister, Kara Danvers, power forward and captain."

Kara waves a bit with a grin, pointing at Ruby's shirt. "Nice jersey, kid." Both of them had the same numbers on, making the kid grin wider.

"And twelve, Kate Kane, our centerwoman."

"Glad to know someone got—"

"If you all are gonna make gay puns, you can go, you lesbians and bisexuals." They all snicker and the blondes high five at their bisexuality.

"Rubes, you wanna go put on your gear and talk with the team while we talk with the Danvers'?" Sam says, ruffling her hair a bit before she went to the bench, everyone but the sisters following.

Kara steps fully off the ice and smiles at Lena, pulling her close to her. "I didn't know you were coming."

"Sam convinced me." She grins under Kara's lips as she holds the v-neckline of her jersey between her fingers. "And maybe I wanted to see you in action."

"I mean, you have before," Kara husks, making Lena blush and go warmer in... other places.

"You know what I meant," she says with a smack to her arm, making her chuckle.

Alex pulls Sam a little bit away from the group, grinning over at Ruby. "You didn't tell me she was a Grizzly."

Sam shrugged with a shy grin. "I figured I could surprise you."

"She's wearing my sister's jersey, though."

"She has one of everyone's but yours."

"Are you serious?!"

"Kidding, kidding," Sam giggled, and laughed truly at her angry pout. "You're cute, y'know?" Alex shuts her up with a kiss and wolf whistles cut it short.

"Get it, Danvers!"

Alex flips Maggie off and looks back at Sam, whispering to her, "They do not need to know about the softness."

"No promises," Sam mutters with a grin.
