Alex groaned when she felt a pillow hit her head, grumbling, "Whatttt?"

"Get up!" She felt a bounce on the bed and the pillow was removed from her head but her eyes remained closed. "Do you not understand what day it is?"

"Yeah, a Saturday where I can sleep in with my—" Alex tried to feel the sheets for another body and groaned, rolling over on her back and opening her eyes to see Ruby over her with pink, purple, and blue face paint on both of her cheeks in rectangles, the tips of her hair the same ombre colors, too.

She furrowed her brow as she gently cupped her cheek, careful not to ruin the makeup. "Why are you wearing face paint, baby?"

"It's Pride! We all have plans today and the rest of the weekend!"

"Shit! Why didn't your mom wake me up?" Alex sat up and threaded her fingers through the tips of her daughter's hair. "Nice."

"Mom did it this morning. Early."

"Ah, that explains it."

"Come onnn," Ruby says with a tug to her arms. "Mom has rainbow breakfast downstairs in the making and Aunts Lena, Kara, and Nia and Uncles Winn and Brainy are already on their way."

"Alright, alright, energetic kid," she mumbles playfully, kissing her forehead. "I'll shower and meet you downstairs."

"Mom left your clothes in the bathroom!" Ruby says as she jumps off the bed and runs out the room. Alex shook her head with a grin and scooted off the bed, heading towards the bathroom, chuckling at clothes there.

Kara showed up with Lena first. The blonde wore her hair up, a white shirt that said, "I put the ace in space" with the last word having its own line and a galaxy behind the words while she also wore a bisexual bracelet and blue shorts, and an ace flag tied at her neck, too, like a cape. Lena wore a custom made shirt that said Lena Lesbian Luthor in black print with the lesbian flag behind it. She had a small lesbian flag in her front jean pocket, her hair pushed over to one side; she even added a bit of pink and red eyeshadow with her signature red lipstick, making her look even gayer.

"Happy Pride!" Kara cheered, laughing when Ruby tackled her in a hug. "Someone's excited."

"It's the girl's first pride, leave her alone," Sam said from the stove, flipping a pancake in the air and grinning when a gust of wind passed her and the pancake was gone from the air. She turned and saw Kara with the plate of rainbow pancakes, munching on a purple one.

"Great banana pancakes, Sam," she says through a mouthful.

Sam rolls her eyes and takes the bacon off the stove, placing it on a platter and on the counter behind her. "Yeah, whatever, you selfish Kryptonian." She grins wider when Alex hugs her from behind. "Hey, you."

"You really went all out, huh?" she mutters, observing the rainbow food galore with pancakes, waffles, bacon, and fruit.

Sam musters a shrug in her arms. "It's most of the family's first pride. It's special."

"Well, every moment's special with family," Lena said, grabbing some red and pink pancakes for herself with blueberries.

"Couldn't have said it better myself." Sam grinned when Alex kissed her cheek and stepped away from her to grab a cup of coffee. "Aw, you actually wore them."

The redhead rolled her eyes. "Can't disappoint my fiancée, can I?" Alex wore a black tank top, a rainbow wrapped around her bust and around the back as design. Above the waistline of her white cargo shorts with rainbow stripes down the sides, a little rainbow waistline of boxers showed, and the rainbow stripes of her white Vans completed the look, too.
