I sat quietly in the car as flashes of green trees pass by as we drove. I look to Zayne and wondered.

"Where are you taking me?" I ask him.

He smirks but doesn't look away from the road. "We're getting some fresh air." Is all he said. I don't bother to ask anything else. The silence between us was kind of soothing. Something I really needed. After half an hour of driving Zayne parks the truck on a dirt road, that overlooked the lake. Getting out I follow him as he walks into the woods to a path way that lead to it.

"We use to visit here when we were younger, Randi and I." He picks up a stone and tosses it into the lake. "Why did you stop?" I ask picking up a stone and attempt to toss it like him.

"Our Father got sick and then Randi had to take over. So ever since, things haven't been the same between he and I. He's different now."

Moving closer to him I tuck my hands into my jacket pocket. "Really I thought he's always been that way." I mumble. Zayne, chuckles. "Believe it or not, he's actually a pretty good person but he had to grow up faster than most of us, he has so much responsibility to take on as the alpha."

"That still doesn't give him the right to treat others like crap."

"By others, you mean yourself?" I look to the rocks underneath my feet for a moment trying to get my thoughts together.

"Is he really going to claim Camila?"

"Who told you that?" He asks with a serious face. "No one, I overheard Cat and Charles talking about it.

Is it true?"

Zayne set quietly for a minute as if he was trying figuring out what he should say next. "It is." He finally confessed. "What's the point of all this? He doesn't want me, he...he wants Camila!" I snap at him.

"It doesn't matter he's still your mate, that's the point, we've tried to get him to see, he's in some kind of trace when it come to Camila, but we're going to break that. Don't think I have something against Camila she's like family but everyone knows she's not his mate. See even if the connection did break, if my brother doesn't snap out of it he'll die of depression because of his wolf and it's a possibility you will too." He continues, "Look-" he says placing both hands on my shoulders. "Do you trust me?" He says looking into my eyes. "I wasn't sure, but I gestured yes."

"That he'll realize he's wrong and that he'll come running to you like the dog he is." I smile and turn my face. "What about Camila?" I ask as we move apart.

"I don't want to hurt her."

"Don't worry about her. She'll be chosen eventually." Zayne says. The word mates made me think. I turn to him. "Zayne, what about your mate, don't you want to meet her?"

"Of course," he says smiling. "No offence, I'll never treat her like my brother treats you." He says.

"Let's get in!"

"Wait...what?" I watch him take off his jacket and then his shirt.

"What if someone sees you?" I say trying to stop him. Zayne chuckles, "What if?" He continues taking off his clothes.

Zayne jumps from the cliff into the water. Resurfacing he shakes the water from his face. "Come on!" he shouts. I shake my head, "I can't swim!"

"Get in Leah!"

What was I so afraid of? I should be grateful he's even wasting his time on me, besides when will I get another chance to swim with a hot werewolf.

Without another thought I begin to take off my clothes leaving on my bra and underwear, before plunging into the icy water.
