Zayne hands me a glass of champagne, as we both take a sip, I start to giggle as the champagne bubbles tickle my nose.
But my smile drops, when I look across the table I realize that Randi wasn't going to change his mind.
"Is it even worth it anymore? if he's really going to announce that he will break tradition and claim another mate, why are we still doing this?"
"You want to dance?" He suddenly ask. Ignoring the question altogether.
He takes the glass from my hand and places it on the table and leads me to the dance floor where mostly older mates slow danced to classic music.
I flinched a little when Zayne wraps his arm around my waist pulling me close to him. Our lips just inches apart. I could feel my cheeks heat up when he moves his lips to my ear. "Don't get the wrong impression. We have an audience?"
All eyes were on us.
I was so confused. Every part of me wanted Randi but no matter how much I denied my feelings a small part of me secretly wanted Zayne too.
He then spins me around allowing me just a few seconds to see alpha Randi staring at us before pulling me back to him.
