I woke up with a knife to my neck. Nothing new there.

"Who are you?" A girl's voice sang. It was almost impossible to find her Australian accent menacing.

I saw Jordan approaching and knew I didn't need to worry.

"Bee, it's Jay. She's back."

"How? You and Zach and I all saw her die."

"It's a long story. But to shorten it, it's as if the apocalypse never happened for her. She's never killed anything. She's seventeen again."

Bee inspected me with her hazel-green eyes.

"First things first, we have to cut her hair."

"Uh... No?" I butted into the conversation.

"Hair is a vulnerability. People can yank it and you'll be in immediate pain."

Bee's hair was cut short. It was still pretty so I guessed that it wouldn't be that bad.

I took the shard out of my bag and watched as the Jordan in the reflection walked out in his tux to go to a funeral. 'My' funeral.

I let Jordan cut my hair and I changed into the outfit he gave me.

Then came introductions.

"Guys, this is 17 year old Jay. It's a long story."

"Zach."

"Liam."

"Sean."

"Mitchell."

Jordan's gaming friends.

"Brayden."

"Stacy."

"Maddie."

"Bee."

All the girls had their hair cut short and everyone was wearing the same clothes.

"So what is this world?" I asked Jordan privately after I met everyone.

"From what I gather, it started off exactly like your world. But around two years ago, it dove into anarchy. Everyone's split up in groups and scavenging for anything useful. People are killing each other everywhere."

"So those people that stopped me in the street-"

"Scavenging. They saw you and decided to see if you had anything useful." He scowled in disgust. "If you didn't struggle, they probably would've kidnapped you."

I didn't wanna know what for.

"Second step." Bee instructed. Jordan put her in charge of training me to survive. "You have to learn to shoot a gun. Brayden will show you how."

She pointed me in the direction of the shooting range (which was sound proofed).

When I got there, Brayden was waiting. There were a variety of guns and he handed me the smallest first.

"Take a deep breath and pull the trigger. Hold onto it tight, though. The whiplash is harsh."

I did as he said and a loud boom went off as I pulled the trigger.

"So." Brayden started to make small talk. "That 'long story' that Jordan said explains why you're 17 again-"

"For me, I am almost 17." I clarified. "I don't remember any of you or this world."

"Kay." Brayden's eyes danced playfully. Next time he helped me line up the shot, he kept his hands a little closer to my waistline. It was making me feel really uncomfortable but I was scared to say something.

We all got dressed and went to go to bed. Bee pulled me over.

"Sorry if I sound really rude at times. Jaylyn was my best friend and I hope you can understand why I'm skeptical about this whole you being her thing."

"I wouldn't believe me."

Hey dere! Sadie here!

That editing was a fail on my part XD

Sorry -Canadian accent-

Well, hope you enjoyed!

Bye bye!
