-Jordan's POV-

Her smile is still burned into my mind.

Her eyes still puts a lump in my throat.

Her name is still carved on my heart.

-FLASHBACK-

'I lost my job, Jordan!' She yelled. 'How can you take this lightly?'

'I can support both of us, babe!'

'I enjoyed my job!'

'You're being ridiculous!'

She stormed to her bedroom.

She sulked for days.

- One Week Later -

She started drinking again.

She started smoking again.

I did nothing to stop her.

- One Month Later -

I never really had time to talk to her much.

I had YouTube and my part time job and college.

- Two Weeks Later -

She sat at home, barely eating and always sleeping.

But she never left.

Because I took her hands in mine and kissed them and promised her that we would be happy someday.

- Three Weeks Later -

There were stories on the news about the attacks.

Yesterday rumor spread that the government collapsed.

She was worried but I kissed her forehead and told her that everything would be alright.

- Two Days Later -

I came home from work that day to see things tossed to the ground.

Blankets stolen.

Food all gone.

TV and computer smashed.

Tables flipped.

Couches torn up.

I called out for her and ran around the rooms.

I stopped short in my room.

Tears gathered in my eyes and overflowed.

I dropped to my knees.

Laying mangled in a pool of deep red liquid was her

I whispered her name a couple times, hopelessly calling to her.

But I knew she was dead.

A bullet hole in her stomach and head.

They had shot her where they knew she wouldn't survive and watched her slowly lose life before ending it all at once.

Her face splashed with her own blood.

Her eyes wide open and her mouth gaping.

Fear still clung to her face.

She had one arm draped over a book on her stomach.

I sobbed as I shut her eyes and gently picked up the blood splattered book.

I promised myself I would find whoever killed her.

-BACK TO THE FUTURE-

I picked up her journal and read the last regretful entry for the hundredth time.

It was almost completely covered in dry blood. But you could make out her writing.

'Jordan,

You... You promised...

- Deirdre'

Hey dere! Sadie here!

So if you read Catch Me, you understand this. If not, this was Jordan's gf in a different fanfic. This explains her fate in this universe.

So ya, that was the fate of poor Deirdre. For realsies death this time around.

Is it bad I kinda enjoyed writing this?

>:D

Hope you kinda sorta enjoyed!

Bye bye!
