A/N: This is gonna be half-assed cause I have like 0 inspiration and I'm in English class... We had out last NAPLAN test today hoo boy
(THAT WAS UPDATE 1, ALMOST A WEEK AGO. UGHGHGHGHG I AM SO SORRY)

I woke up the next morning, pain soaring through every part of my body. I'd be starting class today.
Well, that's what Miss Healay told me anyways. Impa had apparently unpacked my stuff and placed it in groups so that I could move in easily. She went back to my father's estate though.
Geez. I only speak this lazily when tired.
There isn't much in the infirmary. A few beds, a few machines, a few bottles, a few cabinets. Not much... I guess it doesn't get funded as much as the other parts of the school, like that garden Mid and I ran through earlier.
I suddenly remembered Impa's tone speaking to Mr. Dragmire. Had she met him before? Had there been a certain misunderstanding between them? The thought quickly dissipated as I tried not to get into it.
There really wasn't a lot to do, but I couldn't sleep. Ugh, I would do anything for a book right now. Miss Healay wasn't in the room. I couldn't get up. I heard the door slide open, a soft patter of feet entering the room.
"You're awake. The last times I saw you, you were asleep."
This voice was unfamiliar. But it was soft, I felt at ease right away."I already know you're Zelda. I'm Mipha. Mipha Watters, pleasure."
She looked up at me with a kind and soft smile, tilting her head to the side ever so slightly.
I tried to sit up so that we could have a normal conversation, but she gently pushed me back down.
'You should get some rest, you don't need to unpack, but I'm sure Miss Healay told you about that already'
Her voice was soft and sweet, like a soothing lullaby, I felt my eyes droop.
She just smiled and pulled the covers up, tucking me in.

I dreamt of sweet times, when I was young.
My mother, her eyes, filled with love as she looked at me softly, tucking me in and kissing me on the head.
She sang a sweet lullaby, from the days of the old, when there were still kingdoms, kings and queens, princes and princesses. She told me of tales with princesses of the same name, and how our bloodline traced back in time to the original princess, a goddess. Hylia was her name, she was bound by fate to her hero, always finding each other, knowing at first glance they were one, the red string dancing around them. She had also created the red string, yet fate had it's say to who held her eternal love. Zelda, or Hylia hadn't been reborn for many centuries, my mother had told me. Sweet and soft was the lullaby she sang. The one of the lost histories, the Ballad of the Goddess.

A/N: I kinda wanted this chapter to be longer, but I thought it was too little too long. Mk, next chapter soon.
