A/N: Sorry for not updating, I've had a full week of essays, and another full week of spring cleaning (south hemisphere). I got better over the weeks too. Also, I was busy watching Starkid musicals and FMAB... and BNHA... and Steins Gate... hah...
Let's get into it
I WROTE THAT ^ A FEW WEEKS AGO AND DIDN'T EVEN START ON THE STORY AGH. ITS BEEN A MONTH SINCE THE LAST UPDATE I AM SO SORRY OMG
Another reason (excuse) why I didn't update is because it's my SO's birthday soon and I intend to make him something that requires patience. I don't have proper wood carving materials or sandpaper and I'm carving something.-o0O0o-
"GeT uP fOrReSt I cHalLeNgE yOu!"
I whipped my head around to try and find where the threat to Link came from, and I saw a tall man, angrily facing us.
He had blue hair, close to a shade of grey, hair down to his eyes in a style almost like Link's, the difference being that Link swept that hair aside, whilst this man just let it stay messy. He had a few braids from the back of his head, yellow ribbons braided into it them as well, the hair tied at the ends with thick turquoise bands. He looked like he was in his late twenties, young, though much older than me that is to say.
I looked over at Link, remembering the loud stranger mention his last name in his thundering cry. He looked almost annoyed, but he kept his calm and sighed deeply.
"What do you want Ravioli" Link huffed out, moving one knee from his sitting position upwards, then casually resting his hand on it, looking bored.
The man, who I doubted his name was actually Ravioli, made a tch sound, crossing his arms. He then noticed me sitting next to him, I figured I wasn't hard to spot anyways, I have blonde hair. Light colours are very noticeable, and besides I was the 'new chick who showed up in an expensive car on her first day'. He put a hand to his chin and pouted at me, I squirmed under his gaze.
"Well Forrest, who's the little lady you have here?" He questioned, mocking Link. He didn't seem to know who I was, which means that he hasn't heard any gossip yet. He walked over, towering us in height as we were sitting. He would've towered me in height anyways. "The name's Revali, not Ravioli. Anyways, I'm a sports teacher here so Limp Dick over here should be calling me Mr Skies, not food." He smiled proudly pointing to his chest with his thumb.
I hate this guy. He's thirty years old but acts like a stupid high school senior.
I chuckle a little at Link's inward thoughts.
"Anyways, I didn't quite catch what you wanted from me." Link asked the older man.
"I didn't throw it son." Link glared at his choice of nickname. "Anyways, I said I wanted to challenge you, archery." He gestured with his bow, that I had not noticed before, towards a small archery range, "Let's go."
Link sighed and held his hand out to me, the moments of quiet we had hoped to have were over, the cause being a squawking thirty-year-old, hoping to challenge a nineteen-year-old.
Nice guess, and spot on, little miss one year younger than me!
I faked annoyance, sighed then smiled. I put my hand up to reach his, but I stopped and looked over at Mr. Skies. He looked over confused, then had a look of realisation as it all clicked.
"Ah, yes. Silent princess over here can watch me kick your ass. Now come on already!"
Silent princess?
The name sounded oddly familiar.
Link looked as if he were pondering something. I tapped into his thoughts. Still confused with how it all works though.
Where have I heard that before? Why did I see a lily, a frog and someone who looks like Zelda?
I took his hand and gave him a small smile.
Yeah right, silent princess. What? Because I didn't talk!
Link chuckled a bit at my thoughts.
Shall we go, princess?
I giggled; these interactions somehow so familiar to me.
"Hurry up lovebirds, I don't have all day. I have papers to grade!" Mr Skies screamed.
I sighed, hoping he knows that he should prioritize grading papers instead of harassing students, ignoring his remark about Link and me.
We walked down to the range, Link getting his equipment out of the shed. I watched as he checked the arrows in his quiver for any faults.
I'm part of the archery club. Old Ravioli over there is one of my main opponents. People only like me because I'm good at archery jousting and that I'm shrouded in mystery.
Jousting and archery? Oh, how knightly! Should I call you sir Link now?
I faked a regal accent, then froze at my last few words. I saw multiple men in green, one in blue, all with an intricate a sword on their backs. The sword was elegant yet simple enough to be highly efficient and functional. The hilt was purple, with some green vine like decorations snaking around the grip. The guard looked as if it sprouted small, blocky, purple wings with a few minor gold accents included into it. On the blade there was a design carved near the guard, three small triangles positioned in a triangle formation.
I recollected my thoughts back into the present.
I looked over at Link, who seemed to also be in a trance. He snapped out of whatever it was and looked at me and smiled softly.
Sorry princess but you can save that name for another life.
I stared blankly at Link, my mouth slightly open as he jogged over to Mr. Skies and took his position.
There are still too many things that I don't understand.

This took me a few days to write because I felt as if it wasn't enough.
So I wrote it from 28 sep – 2 oct (1 am hmm I love myself)
Anyways I hope you like it. I want to clear up their soulmate stuff soon. They're away from everyone else for now, writing how the general public reacts to the drama from earlier is going to explode my brains.
So yeah! Thanks for sticking with me after not updating for a few months.Until next time!
