Heyo guys. I'm sorry I haven't updated; I'm trying to figure out my writing style and grab inspiration. I've also been obsessed with bnha and kiribaku so if that's your cup of tea, expect a story from me about it. New POV!

MIPHA'S POV
-o0O0o-He's hanging out with her... of course he is.
I'm sad, jealous even, but I won't let that show. I'm not Ruto.
They're soulmates. I mean everyone thinks they are, right? There's no mistaking that vibrant red string dancing in the air.
It's weird, that's not how it's supposed to happen. Well, it's not like I'm speaking from experience.
My parents, grandparents, friends, everybody else... that's not how they described it. Was it just a prank? There's no way someone could get the string to float as beautifully as that. Judging by the looks on their faces... they were confused too.I heard footsteps on grass and saw my twin sister fuming, her hair dyed blue instead of its natural red. I frowned a bit, then looked over at the tree I always saw Link under. It just made me frown more. I could see Mr. Skies challenging Link, Zelda having a look of confusion.
She'll never know him like I do.
I begin walking away from my sister, small, silent steps as to not distract her from her phone. She would follow me if it meant getting to talk to Link.
He's helping her up now, they look like old friends. How did they just accept it like that?
When you're within twenty metres of your soulmate, your string becomes visible to you and your soulmate/s. The feeling on your tight spot releases the closer you get to them. You don't know their names, you can't read their minds, it's not how people fantasize about it. Yet, just now, their mouths weren't moving, but they seem to be talking. How? It also doesn't work that way for poly relationships, you can meet your soulmates at any time, but the string will be green. It's still the same colour no matter your sexuality too! Aromantics have a tightness too, yet their string is yellow and links them to the person that will play the biggest role in their lives. So how?
Why am I thinking about this?
The string colour doesn't matter.
It was clearly red.
I walk over to the archery range and meet with Zelda, who is amazed at their skills and tricks. Skills and tricks, she's never seen Link practice tirelessly to perfect. I make eye-contact with the one I fell in love with, oh so hopelessly knowing, all these years he wasn't the one for me. His look wasn't a gentle one of love, not the way he looked at her, rather it was surprise.
Zelda turned around and spoke up.
"Ah. Oh you! Mipha isn't it?"She smiled warmly and brightly, yet it was still, elegant and small. This was Ruto and I's 'competition. We could never compete. I could never compete.
It takes two to tango.
It takes two to make the colours of love waltz.
And I wasn't planning on dancing.

A/N: I didn't do Mipha justice TwT
Don't worry, I'll write her sweeter next time. She's just in shock and denial. Ruto was in my mind when I was halfway through the chapter. Very short chapter to parallel another very short chapter. Not a filler though. I hope this clears up some questions!
